The restaurant was beautiful and the service was top notch. Plus the meal arrived quick, hot and fresh. Will definitely return.

Nice relaxing sports bar/ restaurant. Atmosphere was good, crowd on Sunday night average age 50+. Food was bar food, average.... Staff was helpful, had to ask for water and ice tea. Waitstaff did not ask us. Travel to bathroom was past the kitchen, thefloors were full of food. Not clean like you would expect, not nasty either. We arrived later in the evening picking up family from the airport . We were seated promptly and the server was friendly . My... husband ordered a smoked old fashioned and they broke the glass the first time making it and there was a delay but theycommunicated it and remade so there was no worries . Food was excellent. The only odd thing that happened at the end the serverasked if we wanted separate checks . It seemed odd as we had been holding hands across the table and came in together andwearing wedding rings but I guess you can’t assume anything . This was my first visit to this location. They seem to be out of a lot of things. The server was not very friendly. A garnish... was missed out of my drink and instead of bringing it to me on a plate the server took my cup. I have never had this happen,which made me feel very uneasy like she was going to do something to my drink. A Friend that was dining with me got up to go getmy drink back. We dined at Walnut Grill for our 5th wedding anniversary last night based on the recommendation of my local mom group. Going... out is rare for us now that we have children so we were looking forward to visiting and having some time out: Unfortunately,our experience did not live up to the hype. Most of our experience was spent just waiting around. Waiting around to orderdrinks, waiting around to order food, waiting around for our waiter to bring us our check. The table next to us finally stoodup to get the waiter’s attention to ask if they could place an order. My husband ordered chicken and waffles. What wasbrought to him was chicken and French toast. I ordered a 6 oz sirloin steak cooked medium. I was brought an extremely wellcooked steak. Why didn’t we bring this to the attention of the wait staff? Because they couldn’t be found and when we didsee them, they practically ran past our table while mumbling, “Everything look good?” The food was still decent and we ateit, mainly because we waited nearly 45 minutes for it to come out and we were starving. Regardless, it was stilldisappointing. The waiter did discount our meal $10 with a note “Thanks for your patience! :)” so we’ll give him that,but a verbal apology would have gone a lot further. Located in a row with no shortage of good restaurants, it's hard to stand out. And this new location proves itself equal to the... other WG locations with their solid menu, fresh ingredients, and comfortable setting. They were a little short of waitstaff, butin my experience in 2022 this is the norm -- so guests must temper their expectations. My husband and I really enjoyed Walnut Grill. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, our waiter was funny, sweet and... kind, our salads, steaks, and potatoes absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely be back again. Read more
