I’ll get right to it, order a bottle of wine when you go to Westchester, most wines by the glass starts at 20.00. My husband... had the Wagyu steak and I ordered the salmon my whole dish was too salty, the wagyu was tough, 79.00 tough. Vegetableovercooked. Just because you slap high prices on a menu does not make it affluent or good. The server checked on us 11 times,she was such a sweet and pretty young lady, however, needs to learn the art of being a server. #dissapointed Oh! The ice creamfrom Clementines was a delight! For those prices you should offer a Sommelier and better wine selection. The whole production offine dining is to educate the diner and their experience should make them feel welcomed at your establishment. The hostess wasnot friendly at all. The decor dark and dreary. We had a wonderful experience at Westchester for lunch! The decor is beautiful and the “vibe” inside is welcoming and cozy... but also hip. I ordered the grilled chicken mezze salad and it was beautiful, but also delicious. The duck fat truffle frieswere also phenomenal. We brought our kids (7 and 4) so Chef Matt made them a grilled cheese (he also added delicious crispyfries) and amazing buttered noodles. He even sent our server, Olivia, out to double check that multi grain bread was ok for thegrilled cheese. Olivia was a wonderful server as well and knew everything about the menu, and the owner was there at the hoststand greeting people as they came in. There was a big table of women having a fun lunch and the bar was full of groups of menhanging out as well. I am born and raised in Chesterfield and it’s totally unique and awesome for the area. The newest Chesterfield staple!! Great vibe from the moment you walk in. We sat at the bar, had some delicious craft drinks and... lunch! I am torn.. . The food and drinks were 5 star. Service was slow, not just for us but noticeably for everyone around us. Maybe it... is because they recently opened but the service didn\'t seem to have a solid flow.\n\nI want to say the bar needs an additionalperson but with so few tables two should suffice. It is a shame they dont knock the wall down and expand the kitchen and diningroom.\n\nA few labeling mistakes on the menu. Everything from start to finish was fantastic! The onion soup was flavorful and did not need the Gruyère cheese, but the cheese... made it better. Perfect for a cold winter night! The steak tartare was also flavored well with peppers and the perfect ratio tothe sauce. The chips made it even better. The duck breast matched well with the parsnip purée and was cooked to a perfectmedium rare. The flavor profile had a gamier edge. The portion sizes were generous, and there were extra duck pieces mixed inwith the vegetables. The cocktails were a delight: my old fashioned had a clear, custom cut ice cube that added to the aestheticcharm.
