Kind of an odd experience. It wasn?t very busy but it took about 10 minutes of me being at the bar before I was even greeted. ... Then another 5 minutes before I ordered a beer. It was very foamy so I ended up with a flat first beer. The cook in the backwho while sitting at the bar you can clearly see looks like he needs anger management in his life and it made me feel like Ididn?t really want to be there. I went to pay my $19 tab and they didn?t have change so they sent a child to subway with my$100 bill. Very nice of the girl but again pretty strange they didn?t have 4 $20 bills to give change. They were also out ofabout a third or more of the menu. Hate to be so critical but I really have no interest in going back. I hope they take mycriticism to improve. The place has potential. Read more
I wanted to give this place another star because this was my second time trying it. I will say the burgers are okay and the... service is great too. However, the nachos are not good and it was microwaved. You know when something is microwaved when it iswarm in the middle and colder on the outside and the pulled pork was dry. Read more
Wonderful local restaurant with fantastic food, friendly service, and fun quirky atmosphere. We were staying at Pocahontas... State Park and this place is only about a 15 minute drive. My partner got the chicken panini on the waitresses recommendationand he raved about it. I got the regular burger and it was juicy and delicious. Also of note, they have amazing boardwalkstyle fries! Service was great and our waitress checked on us several times. The physical space wasn't huge, but it's got anice relaxed, chic vibe going on. Highly recommend! Read more
I've eaten here twice now. I believe it was the Bahn Mi Burger (grilled jalapeno, sriracha aioli, cucumber, etc.) with fries I... got the first time and the Jack-And-Chill Burger (chili, pickled onion, cilantro ginger sauce, etc.) with squash fries and aside of sweet potato fries the second time. The sweet potato fries were OK. I thought their sauces were really good and a nicechange. The cilantro ginger sauce was different and had an Asian fusion thing going on. The burgers are good but kind of steep.They start at $13 and I always add things to them and/or there is an upcharge for squash fries so the bill adds up quick and canbe pretty expensive. My wife and visited Brew Craft & Kitchen recently and only have one regret, it isn?t located in Virginia Beach, where we live.... The beer Jason (great guy and manager) recommended perfectly complimented the best chicken wings I have ever eaten. They maketheir sauces in-house. The beer and food selections are varied and beg for repeat visits. Is Brew Craft Bar & Kitchen worth ahour and a half drive - Oh Yea. I reminded my wife I have a birthday coming up.
