I love Indian food, as does my family. I'm not sure what happened here on our first order, but the vindaloo (ordered "hot") had... no heat at all, the lamb seekh was a small cut up sausage, and overall the dishes were very, very small. The bread basket waswonderful, however. The price was just too much to justify returning. ETA: Thanks to Pakwaan for reaching out to make it rightfor us. Had the lunch buffet here on a Saturday. Food was just okay and a bit pricey, but the service was good.

Tried their weekend buffet.. service was good .. they were very attentive and kept checking on us if we need anything.. we... liked their tandoori chicken, butter chicken gravy and paneer makni.. they kept 5 veg curry’s but only 3 non veg dishesoverall.. I was little disappointed with limited options for Non veg and not having biriyani in the buffet.. I hope they canimprove their buffet menu.. Read more

Pakwaan is sooo good. I am a big fan of Indian Cuisine and this is the best place on the southside of the Richmond metro area. I... highly recommend adding the bread sampler to your order as it allows you to try 3 different types. My favorite is the garlicnaan although the stuffed bread was also tasty. The whole wheat one is a healthier option. If you are ordering for two, just oneorder of the bread is plenty as you get 3 large rounds cut in half to make 6 slices. As for the entrée you can never go wrongwith Tikka Masala. I went with the Malai Kofta which has a delicate nutty sauce and falafel (chickpeas that are basically nonmeat meatballs for anyone who is unfamiliar- you see falafel a lot in Greek cuisine as well).
