This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant! I have eaten here a bunch of times - eaten in and take out. Food is always so fresh... and delicious. The pho broth is the best I have tasted, so flavorful. Staff are always kind. I am so sad I moved further awaybut I try to visit anytime I can! Read more

My wife and I decided to try Van Son after receiving their menu in the mail. We chose to dine in. The service is excellent here... with friendly staff. The portion sizes are quite big which is nice. There is quite a few vegetarian options and vegan optionsas well. I was able to find several items that suited my vegan diet and the restaurant was very accommodating in that regard aswell. I recommend the tofu rolls for sure. Price is more than fair as well. We will definitely be back to try more things. Read more

My boyfriend and I love Vietnamese food! We came to this place and had such a great experience! Super friendly servers, food... came out fast and oh my!!! The quality of this food was outstanding. This is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant we've everbeen to, for real!! Portions were huge, classic dishes were delicious and full of flavour (their pho broth is unbelievably good,the best weve ever had) the place is clean and welcoming. Went here in the middle of a long bike ride along the canal from Calgary and the service was excellent. They ensured we had... enough water in our bottles, advised on what food would help us best make the journey home and the food was very tasty. Read more
