They were on a wait when we arrived. One waitress adeptly served all (we watched as we were waiting for our table in this small... place). The food was delicious. We shared a crab cakes appetizer while my entree was Shepherd's pie and my husband had Cajunravioli. We also ordered a very reasonable Chianti. Excellent service and very reasonable prices. We'll be back when we're intown Read more

We were driving home from Chicago and this was a good stopping point for lunch. We decided to drop into Ivy's. They have dog... friendly seating outside which I appreciated as it can be hard to find places that allow pets while traveling and you shouldn'tleave your dog in the car! The decor was very cute the server's were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the menufairly simple. The chocolate torte was a great dessert. I only wish we could visit again! Hands-down one of our top favourite restaurants ever! The owners are truly one of a kind and fabulous. The food is divine and... the setting, both inside and out, is welcoming and comfortable. We recommend the Polish offerings and of course Amy'soutstanding baked goods (key lime pie is my personal fave!). If you come to the Dunes, don't miss a chance to visit this cutelittle place, owned by people who really care about cooking and their customers' happiness. Read more

Nice ambiance. Dined in the rear patio. Very attentive waitress (Sarah). Steak was ordered medium rare, came medium well but was... not tough so I didn't send it back. It was good, just not what I asked for. Hollandaise had a nice lemony flavor. Read more

This is in a home in downtown Chesterton. We dined in the backyard on a beautiful day with only the construction and trains to... fill the background. The food was really good, I ordered a smoked mozzarella ravioli in cajun alfredo, my wife ordered a polishdish she loved eating as a child. They have a tremendous mixed drink menu and wine and beer menu that is reasonably priced, butwe never made it passed the mixed drinks. Great atmosphere, really tasty food, good service, pricing is higher, but it isChesterton. We will definitely be back. Read more

Certainly a fun place to eat! Good food, interesting setting and wonderful staff makes this a great place to take the family. A... bit on the pricey side but the food is very good. We had the Boho Mac & Cheese, Shepards Pie and the Polish Platter. All verygood and huge servings. Read more

Got the hamburger, which was HUGE. Well cooked and seasoned. Fries are good. Wife got the black bean burger and said it was more... like a garden burger, but was good. Read more

What a nifty place. The menu was pretty varied and the people were very nice. The Polish plate was good but tomato sauce with... cabbage roll could have been better. The drink menu was one of the best I have seen in the area. They can really make a goodmixed drink! Also they have absinthe on the drink menu which is unique and something to try. Will return to try other dishes. Itis a small place, but quaint. Read more
