Had not had hot dogs here in a while. Hot dog was good but the bun used is not the typical Chicago dog bun. It was kind of... harder and I thought the bun size and taste overwhelmed the hot dog. FOOD IS TRASH! Tried it 2 separate occasions and I?ve never in my 26 years of living had such a nasty gyro. First time my order... was incorrect and I was missing items. Also threw my gyros away (never happens). Second time took one bite and threw it away.I?ve had better gyros frozen. Read more

Picked up lunch for myself and a few coworkers. Portion sizes were extremely generous, and carry out service was prompt. They... had 4 entrees ready before I could fill the drinks at the soda fountain! Based on other reviews, I got the Italian beefsandwich. It was huge, as was the portion of fries that came with it. The bun was a little soggy, but this didn't matter to mesince I was going to use the au jus that it came with anyway. This probably also would have been less of an issue if I had dinedin or hadn't transported it 12 minutes to where I ate it. Definitely not enough to dock a star off the rating. Tonight we were coming home to Michigan from a Cubs game at Wrigley and we were in slow traffic trying to get to George's before... the closed. We made it with only 15 minutes to spare. Their staff was totally accommodating with our meal requests and waitedfor us to finish our dinner before turning off the lights. What great food and hospitality!
