First, I'd like to say that dd has always been a favorite since I was a kid in Catonsville, MD. Over the years it's likely I've... spent enough money at the various locals up & down the Eastern seaboard to have owned one by now..:-) Lately there seems to bea trend with different locations that the customer is not the most important in keeping a business like dd going? To someextent, it's how the employees treat the customer that greatly contributes to the success or failure of a business. But, if acustomer is treated poorly then there's a problem! If the owner is reading this plz understand this is not meant to tear downthis particular store. Simply want to bring to your attention things that will cause me not to solicit your store on High St.again. This past Saturday in Chestertown was the open market, which happens every Saturday. 100's, perhaps a 1000 or more visitthe area for this event. DD is just 1 of several places to get coffee & goodies to make your visit enjoyable & memorable. Idecided to get my usual Med. Darkroast coffee & a Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich (toasted dark). Now, over the past few yearsI've enjoyed this breakfast or lunch quite a bit. I always ask for it (toasted dark). A simple request that few get right..noidea why? The girl that was prepping sandwiches at this location seemed to cop an attitude & decided to dry the sandwich to thepoint of no longer being toast, but rather, large croutons. The 2 round eggs were placed N/S on the sandwich, rather than E/W toflow with the elongated bread, with my 2 very small pieces of bacon & something that resembled a piece of cheese. Rather thancreate a scene I managed to go ahead & crunch through it. (Worst yet) I must say though, this girl took the award for "don'tever come in here again & tell me how to make a sandwich". Well, mission accomplished! My business with that store has ceasedgoing forward. I will take my business elsewhere from here out. As a business owner myself & being a Read more

Nice staff with a regular Dunkin menu which is okay. The best part about it is their antique sign. It can get a little busy... during the morning rush and on Saturday when the farmers market happens but The staff are really nice ( and a bit overworked) itis little strange that closes at 2:00 p.m. though Read more

Gathered with my sister and a friend after some shopping. We each ordered a donut and a regular coffee, iced toasted almond... coffee, and chai tea. Everyone enjoyed their beverages. The young man working was a delight, so friendly and helpful. Read more

New clean Building! Friendly, attentive staff! Consistent Dunkin products! Drive through appears to be designed by a drunk!... Seriously it's like someone's ode to a slip -n- slide, but all concrete. Read more

This Dunkin is fairly consistently a little slow. But overall it's still a nice stop if you have time to park and go inside (no... drive thru). After five or six visits, I've had good customer service every time and coffee the way I expect from Dunkin Donuts. Read more

Moved here from Philadelphia where the service is fast and if you don?t know what you want to order, they?re likely to yell at... you to step out of the way so the next person can order. Maybe this store?s much slower pace of service is related to the smalltown feel but it could be better. The food and drinks are what you?d expect from a Dunkin? but the customer service is a missedopportunity to create a connection that will keep bringing in locals and those who routinely visit this quaint small town. Service here was okay. We were here early for a field hockey tournament. The store was opened late and we had to come back... later. When we came back our pickup order was not ready and it took a little bit of time to get our food. I think that day thestaff was mostly young people who were not yet very experienced. Read more
