Awesome BBQ! I?m so happy I finally checked this place out! We had the loaded pork fries and requested without onions(allergy)... and they made it happen! We also ordered the brisket with collards, Mac & cheese, and hush puppies everything was awesome! Thestaff was perfect and accommodating to everything we needed. You do not want to miss dinner here. The food was absolutely incredible (the hush puppies especially were *chef's kiss*), the... staff was friendly (Evelyn is an absolute gem), and the atmosphere gave it that real BBQ joint feel. I will absolutely be goingback again. Read more
I am gonna give 5 stars because the food is delicious, the service is sincere and energetic and it is a local family ran... establishment. Was a little disappointed to wait over a hour for wings that were luke warm upon delivery to the table. I am aserver and take all elements into consideration. OMG the ribs and fish and chips were so delicious. Had my mouth watering even while taking pic of my food. WAZE map is off by... 500 feet, Phat Daddy is located opposite of the Dollar General store behind Bennet gas station. Walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly face. Basic delicious menu for BBQ, Ribs, Chicken, Brisket, and even Turkey.... I decided on the Fried fish (cod I believe). Food arrived at the same time, hot fresh and delicious. As we were sitting I thinkthe owner came out to ask how everything was going? and it was going good. Nice spot.
