I don?t like leaving bad reviews and this place doesn?t even deserve a full star but I have been to through the Chetek drive... thru multiple times and same things happens. Long wait, which I understand if the food was cooked properly but when you see 5people ?working? they should get things done correctly. Maybe if they worked instead of standing around it would be moreefficient. Food might actually be hot and not under the warmer. Everyone hates hard frys, soggy toast and Luke warm chickenstrips especially when they never remember the ranch. This location needs help! 1) Food should be Hot 2) Food Order should becorrect 3) When ordering something you, say it when order is placed not after you waited a long time for food to come you decideto say you are out. Lastly, Do you really sell that many chicken tender baskets to ALWAYS be sold out of gravy? I?ve been therewhen they open, midday and evening and it?s always the same response. We are out. Did you even try to look? I love also whenasking for a missing item the Eye Rolls or the exaggerated ughhh we get from the young girl. It was ok they have new staff there but the kids they have working are not the best. They don't get your order right.
I really don't like to leave bad reviews but this is the worst Dairy Queen (or any other restaurant) I've ever been to. I have... been to this Chetek location several times and every time i leave saying i will never go back. The food is really pricy andtakes forever to get. When you do get your meal it's always disappointing. Seems like the owner is not interested in customerservice at all. Really, if you want great ice cream at a decent price go to the North Lakes drive in or to the new ice creamshop in town. Read more
It is the 4th of July and crazy busy. The staff was working as fast and efficiently as they could. The "manager" was... constantly yelling at the staff. He was very inappropriate and rude. We felt sorry for the workers. Ice cream was great. Read more
Great food when you get the right order. They even forgot a bun on a burger. Not sure how that happened. ???? This dad went through the drivethrough. Severely polite gent working the window. Reminded me of why I enjoyed living here-the... people. You can't beat the vibe in Chetek. The people are great, winter and summer. Thanks for a great desert! Read more
I understand many restaurants are understaffed, and there was a sign up that they were training new staff today, but I waited... for 50 minutes in the drive through. I always expect for a little bit of a wait when coming to this location, but I have neveronce experienced a wait like this. Not here or any other ?fast? food establishment. The man in the car in front of me waited forover 10 minutes at the menu for someone to take his order. When I came up to the window, it seemed like some of the youngemployees were talking to one another about non-work related things and just generally messing around. The food was fine, asexpected, except they gave me the banana split without a lid on it. Maybe I should have asked but at that point I was exhaustedand wanted to get out of the drive through. I understand having a little bit of a wait, but I will probably never come to thislocation ever again. I have never once spent almost an hour of my life in a drive through. If I had the ability to leave, Iwould have but at that point I was already boxed in. I?m disappointed. Please work on the efficiency of this location and bettertraining the employees. Read more
