This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what... they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is excellent. You can tasteevery spice each bite. I had Cassava with Chicken and Rice, Red Stew, Jerk Chicken and Egusi. I’m happy to find another spotclosure to my ride home. Let me not forget they also have a nice Friday night happy hour with comedy show starting at 5pm withsome delicious cocktails my favorite is the Punch ???? Read more

I love this place, The cassava leaves are to die for. Pascal(the owner) and his staff are wonderful with their customer service.... Their food is always fresh and delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. i come here at least 2/3 times a week! Read more

I come here often go Egusi soup served with pounded yam . I got turned on here by my friend and I have been coming ever since... then. If you are used to authentic African food you will know that De Ranch is the real deal. The people that matters in Africacommunity eat here De Ranch is actually for the elite in African and Caribbean food If you ever think that the food istasteless or not good enough for you, you must have the wrong taste bud. I'm not sure how the restaurant received 4.5 stars because the food definitely didn't taste like a 4 star. The jollof rice... didn't have any aroma or taste to it. No hint of thyme, curry or chicken seasoning was present. I grew up eating jollof rice andegusi stew and what I had today was a disappointment. The stew ontop of the jollof rice tasted like tomatoe paste, I had toscrap it off the rice. Please don't waste your money at this place. It takes at least 1 hour to make a good quality jollof riceand this rice tasted like it took less than 30 mins with minimum effort. I was really hoping for a good experience for arestaurant rated 4.5 but instead I received a one star experience. The only good quality about the food was the plantain whichyou can't really mess up but you only get 3 pieces ???????????. So the owner responded that I'm a fake, I bought 4 plate fromthis restaurant and it's a shame they can't accept honest criticism.
