We had the best grilled fish in DC yesterday at Arucola. We were saddened though to learn that they’ll be closing by the end... of March. This place serves great thin crust pizza as well. It will be missed. Read more

We were on time for our reservation, was seated immediately, the place was full, the service was nearly immediately and our meal... was good. Arucola is very intimate with small seating and as a result, the waiters have to squeeze in between the tablesresulting in a lot of interruptions on busy days. Go there on slow days and you'll be fine. Read more

This place used to be better when Roberto Donna was involved and even for a while afterwards. However it is now an OK... neighborhood place that can be hit or miss. Sometimes the food sings and is on point others you will get very meh. Still thepatio is great on a lovely warm evening. If it it were more consistent I would bump the rating. Read more

On a snow-filled night, on a strip of Connecticut Avenue, where often lively windows on a Sunday night had been darkened earlier... than normal, Arucola, the outstanding Italian bistro stood out as never before. Open, despite the weather, serving a smallerthan usual clientele, Arucola's kitchen and wait staff produced the range of yummy entrees we'd come to expect on nights withclean streets and warmer temperatures. On those nights, Arucola is a fine choice for yummy food and attentive service; onSunday night, it was a dream. Read more

Food is excellent, plentiful and delicious! Our family loves it, especially my kids. Tuesdays kids eat free!
