We were back again today 8-26-2022 and had another awesome lunch. We love coming here for entertainment and food and always have... a good time. Thanks to all the staff and management for doing such a great job. We will always be back. Love this place!! I havehad numerous items on the menu and loved all of them, from the Bison short ribs to the wedge salad. Brian and Lacy are wonderfulpeople that keep the restaurant running smooth. The buffet was awful. The fried chicken was like leftover chicken and frozen in the middle. All the food on the buffet line was... cold or like room temperature. I paid $30 to leave hungry. The waitress was great, embarrassed, and speechless because themanager and others didn?t even seem to care. I watched them open the lids of the food look at it and shut it again. That?s howthey checked it. The salad bar needed refreshing and the chicken soup was gross. Mc Donald?s would have been a better choice. Read more

A trademark of WY is bison and that means Terry Bison Ranch and the Senator's Steakhouse near Cheyenne, service was buffet only... but was limited, bison and beef offerings in burgers, short ribs and tacos, no sides except a salad bar, server was attentiveand took good care of our table, plenty of parking with other things to do on the grounds besides eat, expected more for $26 aplate, recommended with tempered expectations. 3 stars for average overall experience. A unique Wyoming experience with juicy hearty bison ribs (their specialty). And if they have the beer cheese soup, get... it! Before you go, do the bison train and hand feed the buffalo. It was one of the best experiences of Wyoming for us. Read more

We wanted a unique, Western restaurant for dinner and Senator's Steak house at Terry Bison Ranch is it! Such a fascinating... interior, it's like walking into a Western historical museum with many old artifacts on the walls! The food was great, they ofcourse specialize in Bison and beef. Chicken and fish are available too. I had the Bison Meatloaf which came with mashedpotatoes, gravy, and vegetables, I highly recommend it! You should go hungry, serving portions are huge! Read more

I stopped in at Senator?s on Oct 16th after the Loveland Airshow with a friend. I ordered the bison ribeye steak, cowboy beans,... mac ?n cheese and fried mushrooms and WOW! This meal knocked my socks off and left me stuffed! Everything was delicious, hot,tasty and prompt. The service was fantastic and I don?t think there?s anything I?d have Senator?s change. A++++ food, A++++dining service and it had the feel of an old 1800?s restaurant/saloon. This is one customer that will be back for more! Read more

Would not recommend. We were seated at 3:25 pm and didn?t get our food until 4:11 pm. The waitress came to check on us a couple... of times to apologize for the wait and let us know our food was being worked on, and explained that they were very busy. Therestaurant was certainly pretty full, but most of the guests seemed to already have their food upon our arrival, and only twotables came in after us and waited just as long as we did. After a ~50-minute wait, the food was warm, not hot, upon arrival.The BLT was okay but only had 2.5 pieces of bacon on it. The meat on the other sandwich was overcooked and dry but the othertoppings were good. Their iced tea was very bitter. It was ~$30 for two which I would consider average, but the long wait andsubpar food left us feeling like we did not get adequate value for the money. Beautiful building on the inside; it looks like itmay have recently been decorated for a wedding and would be a great venue if you brought in a caterer. A musician was gettingset up around the time we were leaving. I gave it an extra star as it may be nice for those looking for dinner and a show/livemusic with nowhere else to be. Read more
