Food is great, but not enough to come back again. The flavors are fantastic and very on par with some best of the city. Would... recommend steering away from chicken tikka - inflation at its finest - 6 pieces of little chicken meat for $17 not includingtax/tip. The worst part, was why were there celery sticks? Not a wings night… Waiter can put in more effort to learn topronounce the words better/properly, do the food and culture justice. Read more

First and first most , many thanks to the team they accepted us last min, we were a party of 7 and most famed restaurants had... not been courteous enough. Now the decor : beautiful! Great combination of Indian and western look. Elegant lighting adds tothe overall experience. Food, the best part!!! Chef is from Delhi so this is the authentic food you get. They tried to play witha few menu items and we were pleasantly amazed. Even our parents who are but conservative on taste enjoyed thoroughly. Must goplace with family, with your partner, date whatever...must go place !! Read more

An wholesome experience. From the curated cocktails to thoughtful starters to delicious main course and to top the list the... infamous Gulabjamun cheesecake. We had the best of the time celebrating our anniversary with Basant and the team. We feel homewith the way they address you and listen to you. I will keep coming and recommending this place for the best Indian foodexperience in Chicago. Read more

Absolutely delicious! Well made authentic and healthy Indian food. You can tell that every bite had fresh ingredients, with the... perfect combination of spices in each one. If you are like me, and not a fan of North Indian foods doused in heavy creams andoils, this is definitely the place for you. The drinks are amazing and several have a creative South Asian twist. I had thecocktail named Chicago Paanwala, and it was divine! The gulab jamun cheesecake for dessert is to die for! The jackfruit cutletas an app is also a must try. We interacted with several of the staff, hostess, owner, server, and others, who were allincredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone had such a positive demeanor that it really made the experience all that much better. The ambiance is just lovely, and definitely gives you that upscale feel. Definitely will return! The atmosphere is pretty modern and the food to match. The restaurant has it's own signature dishes that fit the modern take on... classic cuisine. We started off with samosas and were blown away, sooooo tasty. I had the Chicken Basant and was very pleasedwith my choice, it was creamy, but not saucy. My wife had one of the classic dishes and was satisfied. The dishes come with ricebut you can order more, the naan is very tasty but without any modern take that I noticed (tough to improve on an already greatrecipe). I'd say don't expect a traditional, saucy dinner as I'm not sure you'd get that here. Read more
