This place is SOLID! We?ve ordered here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The food is always hot and... delicious. We?ve had just about every wing from here and choosing a favorite just isn?t possible. There?s too many amazingsauces. The staff is always friendly! Can I give 10 stars?? what the heck is this tteokboki is this tomato soup bisque? lobster bisque? i dont understand any of this. the original fried... chicken does not taste like the traditional bb.q chicken?s or korean fried chicken recipe. it tastes like the chicken has beenmarinated in brine for 71 hours and 32 minutes and tossed in popeyes batter w/o their seasoning. the hot n spicy chickenliterally wasnt tossed. sauce just poured w/ sauce bottle. lazy i was home sick and decided to get it from edgewater instead ofmy usual lincoln park place, big stinky mistake. i take my korean food seriously dont butcher this now for us. drink some coffeeor something wake up please im gonna go throw up now thanks Read more
I arrived at 2:30 so there was no wait. I was uncertain which wings to order so asked the nice employee which one is best with... sweet and spicy? She recommended the perfect wings! The food was ready within 10 minutes and was fresh. The chicken was soft yeta little crunchy on the outside- which was perfect. The fries were tasty as well. I'm hungry to go back to try more. Great food but a tad impersonal with the machines. Plus there?s like a billion options so if you need any help, pretty much out... of luck. 10$ min for card. Got the rose rice cake with cheese which was fantastic. $2 for extra cheese is 100% worth it. Theydef get you your moneys worth lol. Fried chicken was light, fluffy and crunchy. Sauces were good but by no means spicy (got thespicy galbi and Mala hot) at all. The 3 chilli peppers are just for show imho. Would come back but too expensive forvalue/taste/experience. I usually order from the Niles location and this time was my first time at this location. I was disappointed to open my... ddeok-bokki and find that it was extremely watery and with barely any fish cake, not mention very little cheese for which I paidan additional $2 for. I love the Niles bbq chicken so I was extremely disappointed that the quality of the food could beneglected this much, clearly no effort or care was put in to the preparation of my order. Also, the portion was half the sizethat it normally was, with almost no fish cakes inside (as mentioned above), and only 1/2 the egg. For reference, I have added aphoto of how my ddeok-bokki looks when I order from Niles. This experience was so upsetting, and this will definitely be my lasttime at this location since they showed me the lack of quality food they provide. Read more
It was a very very good 8 pieces of chicken. Probably one of the best fried chicken places in chicago. I wish there was more... sauce, however. They don?t give very much, but the chickens are very crunchy and well seasoned. I also found some dirt(?) on thechicken which grossed me out a little bit. Read more
Overall great wings! Very crunchy, lots of sauce (I hate when places are stingy with their sauces), and filling. I got the small... (8pc) spicy galbi wings. Not too spicy for me. It has a good kick by the end. That with some rice and I was satisfied. The onlycritique I would give would be the wait. Food took a bit of time to cook and I wasnt expecting it. But Id have slow quality thanquick garbage. So order ahead if you can. Read more
I don't know what took me so long to go into this restaurant. Daughter suggested we try Korean chicken wings and we said OK.... Small and narrow front with paid street parking available. There is free residential street parking around the block but can bechallenging. Ordered at counter and picked up to eat inside. Menu is limited as main focus is bone and boneless chicken wingsprepared with different seasonings, flavors and sauces but the result were awesome chicken wings. Had 2 diff wings and thrkimchi rice and we were all happy with our experience. Expect to wait a while as each order is made to order so this is a goodthing.
