On Sept 21, 2022 I Ordered two large pizzas w/extra sauce and Turkey sausage because we dont eat pork for religious reasons.... Paid $71 for 2 pizzas, there was NO extra sauce on them when we got home. We call Beggars on 81st and Stony Island and askedcould we have a credit for $5, or $10 off our next purchase, or something for the inconvience. They refused and said we had toreturn the pizzas so they can see that there was no extra sauce and they'd make 2 new pizzas. The problem with that is that it's7:45pm and it took 45 mins to get these pizzas. Our kids have to eat and get ready for school tomorrow, we don't have time to goback. We asked if we could send real time pictures to an email address or phone number...we told them a minor credit would befine no need for new pizzas but, they said no. Then, we pick up a slice of pizza only to find a pepperoni slice underneath it!WE DO NOT EAT PORK!!! This Beggars is UNACCEPTABLE! We don't usually leave reviews but, "we had time today." Overall a horrible experience. Had a interview & even the way the General Manager spoke to me was unacceptable. I had got a... ?training date? but do to my circumstances & a death I wasn?t able to intend that day which I emailed the General Managerletting him know, he emailed me back saying ?Goodmorning, Call Me??when I call I get a very rude greeting and get told ?You senta 2 paragraph email about death and I don?t know what you want us to do I had 3 different people read the email? (although theemail was supposed To be left confidential) I replied with ?I was wondering can I get another opportunity, as I said in theemail this was not something that was expected? I was told sometimes you have to make sacrifice & would I be willing to comework for FREE for 2 weeks?I think a moment to rethink what he just said to me because I couldn?t believe it. The manager here has a nasty attitude!! I patiently waited for her to get off the phone after 20 minutes. We waited so long a... customer walked out. While waiting I asked her can she call someone else to wait on me. She never did. I ordered a large pizzaand she gave me 5 napkins. I asked for more and she said 10 cents a napkin. Ordered a LG pizza, extra cheese extra sausage I gave my cousin about 4/5 prices close the box and went home when I got home... that was when I discovered that The sausage was not done so I put the rest in the rest in the freezer so I had proof to takeback. When I called the next day and spoke to the manager he was rude told me that was not possible he would not let me get aword in. I will not be back will never order from them again I come out better buying a grocery store pizza and not spending$35.83 . Read more
Whew..where do I start they have very-very bad customer service check all bags open your pizza box before you leave make sure... everything is in the bag the manager should not be managing anything there they are not accommodating when they mess up it?slike it is what it is ..they messed up my chicken 24.00 worth of chicken did they bother to fix it nope.. they didn?t put mysalad dressing or the extra dressing I paid for.. didn?t put my bbq sauce on it or on the side for the chicken. I got some soggyburnt smelling chicken and the manager didn?t care he told me to come get the sauce not coming back up there for a bbq sauce ora dressing what should?ve been done is a credit off next time or make my wings over ..this order went over 3 hours because thefirst order they claim someone with the same name and number came and paid and picked it up about 5 mins before I got therethat don?t sound right to begin with so ok .. remake it took another hour came back somethings still not right Ate everythingexcept the soggy stinky chicken even the dry salad..I hope they close this place . Kinda on the pricey side... $22 for these 6 slices. And please do order ahead of time. There is mostly alway's about a 45 minute... wait. Overall the pizza is delicious. Read more
After coming in on October 31 around 7:45 AM had ordered a pizza 40 to 45 minutes prior to getting there and he had to wait... several minutes without being acknowledged by someone in customer service people were waiting and asking what is wrong with themhas it though they are slow. This is all the time. I asked to speak with the manager that evening and he was also very rude andI told him if I have to wait again, I would have to leave the pizza behind.
