Got 40 wings (for 6 people) and some curly fries and fried mushrooms. The wings were pretty good, and the curly fries were great... (but really, how can you mea those up?), the mushrooms were really doughy, so I ended up peeling half of it off to eat them.Good vibe, and they have house brewed beers! ???? Read more
Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for a change of pace and it was well worth it. Brought my softball and everyone was very... accommodating to our group and everyone was friendly and patient. Plenty of televisions playing all of the sports with no onebeing rowdy and loud. Very nice atmosphere. The food is pretty good. I say that to say it?s mostly bar food with some specialtystuff. I?d go for the special stuff since you can get bar food anywhere. Very nice staff and prompt service. The crown was verychill and everyone seemed to have been there before which was really cool to see. During our visit, someone called to say theybelieved they lost something and two of the staff actually took the time to root around the tables to try and locate the personslost item. Great dive bar with good prices, good environment, and has a great range of people... from locals who have been coming for decades to young professionals wanting to hang out with some wings and a bucket of beers.Outdoor patio space is good and dog friendly as well. I really liked place, it has a little of everything for everybody. Deceivingly big inside with a perfectly lit nor too loud... environment that has booths and regular tables, as well as high top tables. You walk in and pass a pool table, some slotmachines, darts and a nice big bar on the right. TV's everywhere so you don't miss any big games and of course touch tunes. Themenu is basic Chicago bar stuff, but the wings are anything but basic. We had the honey barbecue and the hot wings with a couplebaskets of fries. There was 5 of us and we ate all 30 wings and every fry! To say they were the best wings I ever had is too cliché, I've had plenty from countless places and I can honestly say see rank in my top 3. Perfect spot for Sunday football viewing with friends! I'm sad that I'm visiting from out of town because I would happily come... here each week. We ordered the victory sticks (which are mozzarella sticks) and a huge order of wings. The BBQ sauce wasfantastic and I liked the blue cheese sauce, too.
