My wife and I tried this new spot in Portage Park recently and loved it. Originally we ordered via grubhub and the food arrived... fast hot and right. The bluebird cheeseburger is one of the better cheeseburgers I’ve had at a great value price. While I’venot tried everything I do know that the truffle macaroni is sublime as are the sweet potato tots. I went back for lunch today todiscover they have a nice seating area both inside and outside patio area. I found that bluebird was clean and I liked prettymuch everything about Bluebird. It’s nice to have a new higher end feeling place here in Portage Park. Feels gourmet withoutthe gourmet prices. I think it should be on your must try list, you won’t be disappointed. Read more

I went in yesterday and the guy in front was really helpful and very nice to deal with. I am in the service industry and that... guy is great (The extra star is for you, man). However, I am seeing more and more reviews on the quality of the chicken.... Mychicken looked purple/pink and in some areas brown/black. That is not what you want to see when ordering a chicken sandwich.Sides were delicious. This place has so much potential. The vibes are great, great staff - But the food really turned mystomach. We've spent a week in Chicago and stumbled in here. And proceeded to have the best dining experience of our trip. While using... an app to order wasn't the best the rest was fantastic. The food was awesome, the servers were friendly and answered allquestions about the wine and beer. Duck fat fries were tasty and fresh...the pork belly was amazing. Sandwiches a great sizefor lunch. Lots of great sauces. Food done really well. Nice atmosphere too. Great music, comfy seating, really clean. Thisplace is a major highlight. Read more
Ordered the Bluebird sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, elote, duck fat fries and the mac and cheese. Both sandwiches were good... with the bluebird being the superior one. Elote was good as well but a little too wet with sauce and cheese (not really visiblein pictures). The mac and cheese wasn't great and the fries were just okay. On another delivery I ordered the Smoked GoudaBurger that was wonderful. I also tried the Pajaro Verde sandwich from the exclusive item munu but it wasn't veryinteresting. This place was pretty good. Nothing like wowed me but nothing was bad. The salads were really generous portions and some of the... appetizers were good. I enjoyed the beer selection and my cocktail was tasty. I remember the fried chicken sandwich being tastyfrom the last time I went. It wasn't amazing but still and enjoyable meal at a fair price.
