The food, drinks and services were absolutely amazing...I found reviews on tiktok and they didn't disappoint.
Unfortunately I won’t be returning… Chips and salsa cost $7 (free at Uncle Julio’s and so much better) and are deep fried,... literally covered in grease. They were ok tasting but my stomach is not ok, I couldn’t eat them. Tacos were not veryflavorful, I couldn’t even finish the fish taco because it was just not good. Everything was loaded with oil and meat was dry.I would say they have River North prices but not a River North quality. I miss Taco Joint and will definitely go to UncleJulio’s next time. Don’t sleep on this place! The sangria (an entire pitcher) and the chicken enchiladas in this picture were $10 each -... unbelievable! They have incredible specials every day of the week except Saturday. Ridiculously good prices even for RiverNorth! We also got the chips and dip trio. Fresh guac, Pico de Gallo, and queso. The ambiance is adorable - they have indoordining as well as an outdoor patio with lights and cute little colored flags. The service was great and friendly and the foodwas delicious. This dinner was our first time but they also have an impressive brunch menu. The restaurant is on kind of a quietstreet so it’s very relaxed. The place is definitely underrated, I think just because it’s not in a heavy restaurant arealike Fulton Market District. We will definitely be coming back! Read more
I ordered the Carne asada burrito and made it a chimichanga. The queso blanco and burrito sauce is what saved it. I had more... bites of rice than the meat. I may return and try something else. The service was 10/10. Read more
