Recently visited Chicago and got a chance to try this restaurant. Brilliant idea on the menu and the best part is you can grab... them on the go if you are on a tight schedule like us. All the dishes tasted good(we couldn’t stop with one????). I speciallyenjoyed the chana wrap. Must try!!! You will never regret it. Read more

Overall, the food is delicious. The dal, the messy samosa, and the wrap were all tasty in their own right. I had no gripes with... any of the flavors. I would absolutely eat here again. You’re going to pay a little bit to dine here, but it is absolutelyworth it if you’re looking for flavorful Indian food on the go. Read more

Good for fast Indian food. Great that they have a self-serve ordering kiosk. Very fast service. Could stand to have something... other than a 70s pop music track running. Read more

Was visiting Chicago and stopped by this place on my way back from Navy Pier. Lovely Indian style taco bell I would say. Loved... the paratha wrap with meat and veg stuff. And also the Indian street food like samosa. I got the paratha with lamb curry. I wasreally happy with their assorted lassi drinks. I tried the pistachios lassi for the first time and really liked it so much thatI had to go back and buy two more bottles lol. It was so delicious ???????????? The paratha wrap was good and I believe it mustbe ate fresh so it's crispy and nice. It was not as amazing as I thought after I took it to my hotel room. Definitely a greatplace to visit and try some affordable Indian meal near Navy Pier. Read more

Review Date: November 26th, 2018 Bombay Wraps was… the bomb. A final stop on my post-blizzard trip to Chicago. After... grabbing dessert and a coffee at Stan’s Donuts, I walked with said coffee to Bombay for some real food for the first time onthis day. While scouring my GPS for a place to eat at Stan’s, I saw Bombay Wraps. On a cold day, a hot meal sounded wonderful.Of all the places detailed in this blog, there hasn’t been an Indian place until know. It took about 10 minutes to walk therefrom Stan’s, due to the traffic and the amount of people out and about. Once I got there, I was surprised to see it mostlyempty during lunch time. Maybe I had just missed the rush. Oh well, all the easier for me to order. The menu was kind offoreign to me. I knew quite a few of the terms, but that doesn’t mean I knew how they tasted. A few minutes passed of lookingover the menu before I had to decide between the chicken tikka and chicken reshmi. In the end, I picked the chicken tikka. Thelady cooking it asked if I wanted it spicy. I quickly said “yes” before she could finish her question. The way they make itis almost like subway. They have all the ingredients out and make it as you walk towards the cashier. I was given my food beforeI could get my change from paying. I grabbed a seat at one of the stools that was along the front wall, so I could look out ofthe store front as I ate. I noticed my wrap was smaller than I expected but that was fine as I had most of a massive donut a fewminutes before. As I tried to pick up this soaking and messy wrap, trepidation set in. I was about to taste my first Indiancuisine and I was nervous. Wrap in mouth, I take my first bite… and am pleasant surprised by how delicious it was. Once Ifinish the first bite, the spicy kicked in and I took my first sip of the coffee I brought with me. It did nothing to settle theslight burn that was setting in. Wow. I took my time eating the wrap as I was trying to enjoy all the new flavors an Read more

This food was very flavorful and affordable. $5.49 for each wrap (Spicy Reshmi and Tikka) the cheapest I’ve seen in Chicago.... However the wraps were small in my opinion. Would have been 5 if it weren’t for the size. Read more

Had a taste for lamb today, so I ordered from Bombay Wraps. Food came well packaged. No leaks. I ordered the Lamb Curry wrap and... lentil soup. Very tasty. They give you a choice of how spicy the curry is. I love spicy food, so I ordered the Spicy Cilantromint chutney. I couldn't wait for the next bite. Wasn't too spicy. Just enough to make it delicious. Read more
