Breakfast House was wonderful! The staff were very sweet, comfy seating arrangements, and great service. I had the salmon cake... eggs benedict, and wow, it was amazing. All of the staff wore "food made with love" shirts and it was obvious that this isdefinitely the case. I will be back on my next visit to Chicago. Read more
Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday and the place was packed with a wait but we were sat/served very quickly! Food was... delicious- burrito is massive and the corn cakes were great with the red pepper sauce. Pancake was a great addition - theyreamazing. Will be returning! Read more

While Very decent & unimpressive looking from the outside, I found the food I ordered to be crazy good. I had the Atlantic... Salmon Eggs Benedict with house potatoes (never have I ever had such good house potatoes before!). First time in Chicago, and I was looking for a breakfast spot. I ended up ordering from this place and I the chicken and waffle... and Paris omelette. Man, was I satisfied with what I ordered. The chicken was moist and the omelette was perfect. Definitelyrecommend this place to anyone. Read more

The Breakfast House is such a family delight. Service, space and food is outstanding. Came in for Sunday breakfast and was... seated and served with a welcome smile. Coffee from Intelligentsia is delish and bold. Ordered the chicken and waffles andtraditional Eggs Benedict. Would highly recommend either to share. The waffle is light and crunchy, chicken so crisp and tasty.The space welcomes families and really moves entrees out without feeling rushed. Will be back to Breakfast House to try outother dishes. The food was good but the indoor dining experience not so much. Parking was just the street parking which took a while to find,... way too much noise within the kitchen making every table group try to speak so loudly over each other, and we were sitting solong at the table with no server even coming to ask for at least drinks we had to find someone ourselves to place am order.Disappointed considering I loved a different breakfast house location so much. Would only come back for takeout. Read more
