Affordable place for an Italian lunch. Even a small sandwich is yummy and filling. The staff is amazing, and even made sure to... ask if I was a student so I could redeem a student discount. Read more

I'm a new fan. First, everyone's nice here. Genuinely. The deli is outstanding and they know what they're doing. Quick... sandwiches or pasta made and served with a smile. They coffee is lava azza, which I prefer over star$. They aren't fast, but it'sworth it, barrista is great. L'Appetito always sells little items like chips, biscotti, dry pasta, and more. They have a bakeryat the counter where they bring in fresh Italian bakery goods. How could you not love this place?! There's seating, too. Read more

This is the best Italian deli. I really miss living and working in the city because I used to come here A LOT. I also miss the... Hancock location. I recommend everything but my favorite sandwich is the Roma panini and the lemon cookies are to die for! ???? Read more

A wonderful little deli that serves amazing sandwiches and has great coffee. They slice all their own deli meat so you know it's... fresh, my favorite sandwich is the italiano. The staff is always friendly. There are lots of individual tables inside and in thewarmer months there is an outdoor seating section that is fenced off. The baked goods are delicious but not baked on sight. Theyare closed on Sunday so plan accordingly. Read more

I usually am quite pleased with this establishment. But they very seriously overlooked something with my sandwiches when I... purchased them for my ENTIRE CREW at work and praised their goodness. A small staff of six, I bought 2 spinach aracinis, meatball sandwich, Italiano, and 2 Diavolos with extra Genoa salami and hot giardinera. Some of the meat on the lattersandwiches still had plastic wrap on it and we ended up having it throughout our sandwiches....Bad...and I can't go back untilMonday, because they are closed on Sundays......feel bad, but people have to be careful....and this was bad and embarrassing????after having told my colleagues how much I praise these sandwiches.... I first went to L'Appetito in 2005 and it has been One of my favorite on the go lunch spots since. Everytime im in the Gold... Coast Area I know L'Appetito is near by. So many great options but I love the Turkey Havarti Panini. No lettuce or tomatoes justmeat cheese in pressed bread yum!. The tomatoes and lettuce give it more of a toasted sub feel, not a warm crust panini that Iwant. They have cheeses , gelato, espresso and petite sweets and a whole fridge filled with pre packaged pasta! Such an awesomeshop, ENJOY! Read more
