It was the first cafe that I visited on my first visit to Chicago and I instantly fell in love with it. This place was so cute... and cozy and the pressed sandwich was so delicious, as was their cafe con leche. The prices are very reasonable, especially forthis area. The service was great as well. I can't wait to try their breakfast! Read more

Once I got my sandwiches, I walked back to my hotel. It was only a 5 min walk, but as soon as I made it back, my mind started to... race. I started to have visuals of me choking while alone in my hotel room. Then I thought about the poor cleaners that wouldend up finding my body and uneaten sandwiches days later. At that point the tuna would have definitely gone bad. They wouldn?teven get to enjoy it. Then I started to think about the people that would stay in that room after me. Would I just beperpetually haunting every guest? That?s not what I want for my after life. I ended up walking back to Cafecito and ate mysandwiches there. Luckily, I didn?t have any chocking scares and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Read more

If you're looking for a less expensive but good food, come to this place. My kids and I came here for breakfast and I was very... glad, not just for the price but the service also. Our server was very nice and helpful. I had the La Fruteria which is s fruitpancake and it was delicious and more than enough for me. One of my kids had the Cubano and she said it was good but I didn'ttaste it, but I trust her taste. I think the best one was the pan de Havana. That was really good, with the avocado, mango andtomato on top of a toast. The balsamic glaze was a great touch because it brought all these flavors together. My oldest and Ihad the Cuban latte and my youngest had the chocolate milk. Total for all these, less than $50! The place, of course, has theCuban vibe. The only thing is it's a little too dark, especially for breakfast. All in all, will go back for sure. Read more

This place seems to be a bit disorganized. First there should be a clear distinction made at the entrance- dine in grab a sit,... to go step up to counter. Also the waitresses seem to overlap each other they don't who's helping which table. Which then causesdelay for order to be placed. I saw a table of 5 sit down wait and then leave after none came over for about 10 minutes. Alsoour order was taken later after we had been sat. The yuca fries are more of yuca hash, meaning they're not a easy finger foodand not really something that be shared. Also the check had to be asked for twice before they waitress came over with attitude.Unfortunately i don't think I'll be back. Read more

Everything was delicious! Nice little spot for take out or sit down. The food came out quickly and was all hot and fresh. The... cocktails were also tasty. Read more

I come here often mostly because this cafe is conveniently close to where I live and their soups are extremely delicious! You... can order salads ???? sandwiches and meals to go but I prefer to have a seat inside to relax. Their food is reliably good andif your particular server isn't available just ask another person or the bartender because they all take turns with the ordershere. I love their sandwiches and soups and if you do order a panini you can upgrade any sandwich ???? with soup and a beveragefor an additional charge. This is also a coffee ? shop so if you want a coffee or hot chocolate you can get that here too. Iprefer coming here in the summer for outside seating and yes dogs are allowed so I used to bring my fur baby here in the summerbefore she passed away this February. Nice relaxing atmosphere and reliably good Cuban dishes in a casual setting. The priceshere are modest and dress casually. Nice slow pace here -- no one rushes you out the door. European vibes ? Went for lunch on a Wednesday and had a perfectly average experience. The service was pretty slow and not very friendly. Their... menu isn?t completely accurate. We tried to order mojitos since the menu says $5 mojitos ?all day? on Wednesdays. Turns out thatdeal actually starts at 4pm. The cubano (their signature sandwich) was really nothing special. It tasted like some of thecomponents had been sitting out for a while. For example, the meat was pretty dry. The space is nice, but that wasn?t enough toelevate my experience from just being average. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. I had high hopesbased on many other positive reviews. Read more

Great little find. What a change to your ?normal? coffee shops. This is such a change from the norm with lovely sandwiches, soup... and of course nice tasting coffee! Keep up the great work. As a side note, ordered straight from the Google app and walkedaround at the allotted time and it was ready to go ???? Read more
