The place is located where most of the Asian restaurants are in China town. It is by far the best Chinese food in... Chicagoland! The food is always fresh and the portions are massive! They prepare the food fast especially considering how busythey get. The service also excellent! The prices are also very reasonable. It’s also a hidden gem considering how late itstays open (especially after a long night out). I have been coming here for years and always recommend this place. They neverdisappoint! Read more

I went at the recommendation of hotel staff while visiting Chicago. I was told the food was good and that it was one of the few... places open at night. Although the latter is true, I didn’t have as good of an experience when I ate here. My egg roll cameout a little burned but I ate it anyways and it was decent. I ordered kung pao chicken and the portion was huge but the chickenwas very dry and overdone. I typically don’t send food back so I tried to eat it… after having a second piece of chicken Irealized it was going to be pretty difficult to eat. The server was very kind and let me choose something else from the menu.He went back to the kitchen and told me he’d tried a piece of chicken and that he agreed it was too dry. The service is thereason that this review is 3/5 and not 2/5. I chose the Thai chili fried tofu and the few pieces that I had were delicious. However, I didn’t eat much of it because I’d eaten the (also dry) rice that came with the chicken while I waited for my foodthe second time. I ordered a lemon tea as well but didn’t drink it because it tasted more like hot lemonade than tea. Theother reviews here seem pretty good, so I’m not sure what happened. It was a Wednesday at 10:30 pm, but there were still adecent number of people inside. This wouldn’t be a place I’d return to if I visit Chicago again. Read more

Top notch food and great prices. One of the best in Chinatown in my opinion, and we come here a lot. The appetizer came out... after our food, which was a little annoying because we were getting full. The food was 5 stars but service was rushed andimpersonal. Still, an exceptional restaurant. My walnut shrimp was particularly memorable and a generous portion. Read more

I missed Cantonese snack food so much. It was all good, but wish they'd baked my cream sauce seafood on rice. Brings me the... childhood memories. Read more

Honestly there’s nothing really to dislike about this place. Some things may have an acquired taste but most of the dishes... I’ve had were great. They are open late but sometimes close at 1:30am instead of 2. Highly recommend the beef brisket soup orseafood soup. It’s 8 bucks and both are phenomenal. Egg rolls are delicious as well. Awesome place, extremely well priced. Read more

Great food. Quick and friendly service. They are open late night. There was a 20 minute wait but we'll worth it. The diners... comprised a conspicuously diverse ethnic mix. To the extent I've never noticed in any other restaurant. In my opinion, anexcellent sign!! Kudos to the management and staff! Read more

This is usually my first stop when I visit Chicago because they’re still open when I arrive around 10pm! A must order would be... the salt and pepper pork chops. Tried the abalone and chicken congee and it was a disappointment, expect to get scallops insteadof abalone. The rest of the dishes were good though! Read more
