I AM SO HAPPY RN. Usually it isn?t that deep where I need to right a review but let me write strong worded positive review about... this specific CHIPOTLE they put they heart into this preparation, 87th street chipotle is disappointing all the time , Chipotleon lake often has salty rice or forgets to stir but this Chipotle did not disappoint in anyway , they are heavy handed withportions and after coming from the gym that?s what I need all the workers are professional and patient and they are workingzealously to keep it clean I don?t know who had a bad time here in the past but sense said persons visit I must say they haveturned themselves around I wished the trash wasn?t so full but otherwise the food prep and professional act of the workers 10/10would recommend ***KEEP IN MIND THIS MAY VARY DEPENDING HOW YOU ORDER CAUSE I DINED IN . **** Read more

Placed a pick-up order using their app. Went there on time and could not believe the unsanitary conditions there. Tissues, cups... and other disposables lying everywhere on the floor. Looks like it has not been cleaned in a long time. My order was not ready.The staff more interested in talking and joking among themselves than talking to the customers. The lady who was preparingorders was adjusting her braided hair and preping the food with the same hands without changing the gloves or sanitizing. Got myorder 40 mins after the confirmed time and was missing quite a few items that I paid for. Anyway I will not be ordering fromthis place again. Read more

Review is strictly for customer service, not quality of food. For work, we placed a large order of individual meals online, and... we placed it earlier in the day because it was a larger order. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times to let them knowthe order did not have to be rushed and could be delivered closer to a more appropriate lunch time (eta was 10:55 am), howeverthe phone service is an automated service that wouldn't allow me to speak to someone. I understand the need to minimize randomcallers to allow your employees to do their job, but as a customer, I should be able to speak to an actual employee regarding anorder I spent money on. We were trying to be courteous to the employees and let them know the order didn't have to be rushed outthe door as soon as they opened, but I couldn't get an actual real person in the phone. I called the main customer care centerand they were not helpful either. She offered to refund the entire order, which we did not want to do, but said she was unableto assist me otherwise. Read more

This place is horrible!! I placed my order online and paid for it (burrito bowl with 1/2 chicken 1/2 steak, lettuce ,cheese,... rice and guacamole). When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order I was informed that they were out of chicken, rice andcheese!!! Like why wasn?t I informed of that when placed my order??? It was such an inconvenience to drive all the there to betold that they barely had any items that I wanted and that I have to go online to get a refund!!! This is ridiculous!! My experience at the Hyde Park location was bad first of all the work area had food all over the place and the rice was not... done. Also, I ordered the bowl this location charged $1.15 for the vinaigrette dressing. This charge is not posted on the signwhich list the charges for sides. Is this a legitimate charge or is this location making up their own charges? Read more

I ordered a veggie bowl pickup through grubhub. The worst thing about this place is I always find a piece of meat though I order... veggie bowl. People who work here are really careless in preparing the order. Read more

One thing that is consistent with this Chipotle is how bad it CONTINUES to be. Hyde Park Chipotle is theeee WORST Chipotle in... Chicago. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. Every time I give them another chance, they ended proving why I stoppedgoing. They are either: Out of something Rice is undercooked Fajita veggies: don't have and/or burnt and/or crunchy andundercooked Meat: no flavor and/or burnt Chips: chewy & super greasy bc not cooked all the way through and/or too much salt Slowand very disorganized. Ordered a bowl online...paid for double meat Got there...cashier and other worker had to finish convobefore even asking if i was picking up. She then says the whatever system was down so the order was canceled. She then asked myname and said she could look up the order....so is the system down or nah? Because how can you just go into your system andlook up my order by my name and know exactly what to make while I'm standing there. Why couldn't that have been done to beginwith. The young lady prepares my bowl with the bottom of the container scraps of chicken and the old, dry, burnt steak remnants(my dog would have scoffed at it).. Chicken looks like pulled chicken instead of the cubes of chicken that it should be. Bothmeats had NO season, flavor...not even salt and damn pepper! And this is not $4 worth of extra meat...only extra rice...which Ididn't ask for...Of course you don't notice until back to your location ready to eat.
