Went for our anniversary and definitely recommend—went on a Thursday evening and they were packed; easy to see why. We split... the Italian salad, we’re really impressed with the bread, and inhaled the prosciutto pizza; no regrets. Read more

Went here with my girlfriend before we went to the Eric Clapton concert. We had the strawberry basil slushie cocktail, white... grapefruit negroni, and a glass of wine for our beverages. We split the casarecce pasta, a margherita pizza, the ortolana pizza, and the salsiccia e soppressata pizza for our meal. To wrap up our delicious dining experience, we ordered the peach crispgelato and the salted almond toffee gelato. We eat and make a lot of Neapolitan pizza and make gelato so we have had quite a bitof experience with the style, and I was very impressed with their pizzas and gelato. The pizzas were cooked exactly how theylook in the textbook for pizza Napoletana and the flavors were a wonderful blend of the quality ingredients they use. The peachcrisp gelato was amazing, reminded me of peach cobbler with ice cream. The casarecce pasta was delicious, I’ve never had a“red pesto” or pasta with currants in it and I was obsessed with it last night. Drinks were very good as well. Highlyrecommend eating at Coda di Volpe if you like pizza, gelato, or pasta. Read more

Awesome pizza and Italian food. The outdoor sitting gives an European setting. The food had the right temperature and Italian... taste to it. Serves were helpful and polite. Overall it was a great experience to have authentic Italian food in the middle ofdowntown Chicago. Read more

The place looks great American style, the pizza la Margaherita*** I ate it has a nice taste, but the super diavola* this... incomble has too spicy, if you're going to try this pizza well. I'd certainly not come back for pizza I don't think so, there'sbetter places to eat Italian style pizza the Tiramisu*** was rich nothing from the other world. The quality will depend on yourtaste I don't like it and the price is that 50+ is high. They ask me if I would recommend it, I don't think so. I'll follow mysearch for a good Italian pizza. First time having a meal here and it was such a delicious lunch! Service was friendly, personable, and attentive! The pizzas are... thinner than what we were expecting but that didn't matter after we had the first bite! Will definitely be back! Read more
