Almost didn’t give this five stars just because I don’t want this ideal neighborhood hangout spot to become overrun with... shoebies. They’ve got great always-on happy hour deals, a fun indoor/outdoor patio that’s semi-hidden in the very back, anda friendly staff. Perfect place for after work drinks or to a watch a ballgame. This is a super busy place as it seems to be a magnet for both Second City attendees and nightlife in general. So, plan... accordingly. They're burgers and salads were blah to be nice, (they were pretty bad) and I specifically asked for no bbq sauce on my burger,... but there was some on it, so I didn't eat all my burger. Then when I asked the waitress about it, they brought out the managerand she kept saying I'm sorry, but didn't offer a refund or another burger. Lastly, if you want a salad on the side for aburger, it costs an extra 3.50$. Read more
Been here a few times. I was a little disappointed that they were out of Smithwicks. I got my cheese curds as an appetizer and... Shepard's Pie as the entree. As good as always. Atmosphere is how you'd expect a local bar to be. Friendly and cheerful. Ialways enjoy it there. You will too. Read more
My favorite spot in Old Town over my 6 years living here. Best food on the menu is the pub grub (fried pickles and curds are my... fav). Good beer selection. Mixed drinks are so-so, expect the seasonal cocktails are yummy. Atmosphere is everything at thislocal Irish pub. Always decked out for the holidays. Read more
Nothing super special about corcorans but it’s a solid establishment. went on a wednesday evening to grab drinks with friends.... we sat out back on the large patio- the atmosphere was great. lots of picnic and high top tables to sit at and they were playinggood music. there good deals on draft beers and appetizers. i had no idea that corcorans served food and it was really good!! weespecially loved the soft pretzel with cheese sauce. definitely will return in the future for happy hour! We visited Corcoran's for our anniversary dinner. My fiance got the Smithwick's red ale and the Chirish burger, which were very... good. I got the Roarin' 20s Manhattan and the Blackened Atlantic salmon. The salmon and its sides were absolutely delicious! Ihighly recommend it. Good service too. What drew us in were the fabulous holiday decorations. Lovely! Would definitely visitagain. Read more
Non-alcoholic beer selection was INCREDIBLE! Thanks for that ???? super nice and friendly bar staff for this vacationer.
