The breakfast entrees here are decently okay with adequate options, but wouldn't be my first go to choice for breakfast. The... French toast, however, definitely made my experience at Cracked savory. Out of everything that we ordered at Cracked, the Frenchtoast is something that I would recommend people to try out; not overtly sweet, amazing taste and crunch. Food was good especially the sausage (seared) and the Morning Bender sandwich. Coffee was great and we enjoyed the mimosa... flight. (2 meals, 2 coffees, side sausage & mimosa flight $56) Service was exceptional he was very nice. Only negative thing Iwould say about the restaurant, they could work on cleanliness. Windows, doors, there were crumbs in the seats, menu were dirtyand the bathroom could use a wipe down. The kitchen from where I sat was clean! Great music and very welcoming. Cracked was voted for best brunch in the Chicago Tribune and I had to try it! We started with the white cheddar tots and french... toast bites which were enough for the whole table to have plenty. The coffee was on point and the mimosa flights are a mustorder. We all ordered something different from the chilaquiles to the biscuit benny - there was something for everybody. I hadthe Vegasm breakfast sandwich with bacon and it was so flavorful, it was the perfect start to my day. This place looked really good on paper but after trying a few items, it was pretty average. I probably wouldn't wanna eat here... again but there wasn't anything particularly off putting about it. Just have better places to spend my breakfast money on. Thegravy train was quite bland and the hash browns either didn't add much to it, or it wasn't crispy enough.
