Andrew and his team catered our wedding in October 2021. He is a true pro and the type of guy that makes you feel like a cool... and more special person for knowing him. The stunning pictures of his food posted here are truly representative of histalents/execution and are as delicious as they look. Most of all Andrew was an absolute pleasure to work with and wasexceedingly patient and kind to us. My mother in law, who has past professional experience in the industry as well, was able tobook his team for a subsequent event for her office and she sang his praised for that event as well. He is from Louisiana andhas mastered Creole/Cajun classics but was also able to riff off of all our ideas (for a ~7 course cocktail style menu) andprovided plenty of helpful feedback to hone the final menu. He even sourced specific product imports from back home to ensurethe quality of his dishes. Andrew was flexible and adaptive in responding to challenging/unpredictable situations with grace andpoise. I am jealous of anyone who gets to attend one of his events and hope for the privilege again someday soon. Read more

We went to a pop up at the Crying Onion. Outside is very unassuming, but when you enter, you are treated with a tastefully... renovated space (stil in progress). Drew, the owner, gave us a tour of the building, and explained its' prominence. The foodserved was delicious! Lamb tacos, shrimp pasta with basil, lemon, white wine and garlic, and donuts for dessert. This was alast minute get together, and had good expectations. The bar was set way too low, as Drew hit one out of the park for us!! Read more

Chef Andrew is absolutely incredible. Look no further if you are looking for an in home dinner or catered event. We have hired... Andrew twice now. The first time was for a dinner party where he wowed us with a Provençal-themed menu for a friends' birthdaycelebration. He was personable and interacted with us at the perfect level and his good was delicious. I most recently hired himagain to cater for our annual holiday party for 60 people. Andrew rose to the challenge of my request for a Swedish smorgasbordin honor of Santa Lucia day. His spread was INCREDIBLE! I was beyond impressed with his willingness to work with my menurequests and recipe suggestions and he put his own wonderful spin and flare into some tried and true family recipes that werejust out of this world. My husband and I are huge "foodies" and have eaten at some of the top restaurants in the world. I cansay without a doubt that chef Andrew and the crying onion is of high quality and well worth every dime! Read more
