Stunning and comfortable coffee shop/Cafe located at the Chicago Metra Station. The staff here are super upbeat and eager to... help. Today I met Javi and Roberto and I'm extremely impressed with the quality of the house made iced chai I ordered here. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes but it came out at French toast. I kept it but I totally missed any lemon flavor & the... blueberry was just a few berries sprinkled on top. Very underwhelming. Also everything came out cold. The cheese on my eggs wasbarely melted. & the bacon was dry like jerky. So it was a total $25 breakfast miss for me but the menu descriptions soundedappetizing & it is a beautiful space. Come for the best chocolate-almond croissant. A lovely spot with big windows to enjoy your hot coffee and sweet pastry and... watch the rain pour outside. Cappucino is my go-to drink, but I needed some help to choose a dessert. The person working theresaid their favorite items were the cheese danish and the chocolate-almond croissant. Cupitol is in a class of its own. So many beautiful details make the place feel modern and cozy. The community table (complete... with seasonal candle) is the perfect place to catch up on work or kill some time waiting for the train. The staff are also sowelcoming!
