We came here for a quick drink before close to check out the view. The bar team was super friendly and made our experience... special. The rooftop has a great view, fun cocktail menu and hip vibe. Cool, chill out spot until mid evening. After about 8 o'clock the crowd changes a bit & it 'turns up'. Not rowdy , just more... lively. Really good drinks and small plates. The view is amazing in any direction and the city lights are dazzling! Reallywanted to jump in the pool! Staff is very attentive, even the security staff is helpful. Read more

I would make a reservation if you want to sit outside, be aware it's a $40 deposit that goes toward your bill to reserve a... spot. Overall the rooftop was pretty small but great views from gold coast, the pool adds to some great ambiance at night. Thefire pits and seating all around are great, but the seats are some of the most uncomfortable for a rooftop. Overall the drinkselection is ok, but some frozen drinks make it fun on a nice night. If you have a group of 4 or more you can rent a fire pit.Overall we had fun but not sure if I'd come back, leaving it as a four star as service and location were a ton of fun, butunfortunately it wasn't anything special. Such a beautiful hotel bar located at the rooftop pool of the Viceroy Hotel. We stayed in the hotel and were frequent visitors... to Devereaux. The staff here are such a great vibe and really make your visit comfortable. The food was a little pricey, but inmy opinion it was worth the price. Read more
Cute lil place for a drink and chill. My date and I froze on the rooftop thanks to Chicago's mercurial weather but we still... enjoyed (they do have blankets & firepits ????). I would absolutely return in the summer to enjoy the pool. Read more
