This was my first time in and the overall experience was very pleasant. Loved the old diner feel and the service was great. I... was surprised by how small the Porcini Biscuits and gravy was - it only had one very small biscuit for $12. The gravy was greatthough, it just would have been higher-value if there was a second biscuit because the tiny size was kind of laughable ???? Itwas more of a snack than a meal. Had a wonderful time. Everything was fresh and delicious. Diner was packed so if you want a less hectic crowd, try going during... the weekdays. I got the french toast and it was perfect. The pancakes and toast came with a lot of maple butter. Personally, thepancakes and toast were already so soft and perfect that there was no need for the butter. So lucky to have this neighborhood spot ? and glad that they made it through the toughest times of the pandemic. You don?t... always see spots that have both good food AND good coffee, but Dollop Diner does! I always get the chicken and waffles withmaple butter, but I?ve heard the burgers are also good if you go when they have them. Read more
It was awesome The only reason I give a 4 is coz the coffee took way to long to be refilled, and they didn't Refil the cream.... Otherwise...fantastic Best waffles I've ever had And freshly fried chicken which is very uncommon. 100% recommended Read more
Enjoyed our Brunch very much! We ate in the outside area in the back. The actual inside of the restaurant is very small even... with front and back inside eating areas. Our server Julia was very attentive and made us feel comfortable. The food was verytasty and flavorful and tasted very fresh. We also had drinks. I had a Bloody Maria, it was a bit lacking in flavor. Idefinitely has to add hot sauce, black pepper and salt. Mimosa pretty basic. All in all we will probably be back. Biscuits andgravy very enjoyable! Read more
This was my first time going here on a weekend and it was insanely busy, even right at 8 am. But, that should tell you just how... good the food actually is here. I was worried the food wouldn?t be as good because it was so chaotic, but despite slightlylonger than usual wait times, the food was equally as good. I would definitely suggest going in a weekday just to avoid waitingbut the wait is worth it. I had the chicken and waffles, my husband had the 3x3 (I think that?s what it?s called) combo.
