Just the best. Every single dish was a flavor bomb, literally no misses. We ordered margaritas (massive and delicious), as well... as: - Empenadas with goat and cheese with birria dip: 10/10, such a good idea, so fresh and filled to the brim and AMAZING -Shrimp with mashed potatoes: incredibly flavorful, 9/10 - Lamb chops: they come with the most addictive sauce and deliciouspasta, an unexpected combination that just works, 10/10 - Chicken enchiladas: had the best crunchiest top layer, addictivebeans, amazing lime flavor, 9.5/10 - Caramel filled churros with chocolate sauce: 100/10, I don’t even like churros but thesewere literally fresh out of the oven with the most incredible flavor Everyone who helped us was so amazingly nice and helpful, impeccable service, casual and super fun atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough!!! One of my new favorites. Read more

We had a dinner on Saturday night. Their margarita was very tasty! We ordered lamb chop and skirt steak. Both of them were... really good. We will definitely come back! Read more

5 stars, gold medal, 1st place trophy; whatever awards you can think of, this place deserves it. I do not often use the word... amazing, but the arrachera is worthy of such a title. The flavor, the tenderness, and the sides(!!), all at half the price pointof a nice steakhouse makes this one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I usually only focus on the food, but even I feelcompelled to mention the infectious positive energy that this restaurant emits with its music and decor. Doña Tola executes allthe spectacular qualities of Mexican cuisine at the highest level. Seriously, try this place. Read more

Happened upon this spot for a Saturday brunch and was pleasantly surprised! The food was really great and the service was nice... too. It’s a really cute atmosphere and while we didn’t get drinks, they looked great! We opted for the Mexican Bread Basket(which was filled with flavorful options) and came with coffee or tea. We also tried the Machacado con Huevo which was Shreddedbeef, pico de gallo, and scrambled eggs and came with a side of tortillas as well as beans and potatoes. The vibrant murals andthe open windows were a nice touch too. They have a cute sidewalk patio area as well. Read more

Food 4/ 5 I was sad to find no vegan options. Highly recommend you guys add some. I had enchiladas de calabacita and they were... great; the tomatillo sauce was on point and the veggies were flavourful. Dessert was great; flan/ dulce de leche was exquisite(sweet, but not overwhelming). Atmosphere 5/5 The vibe was on point! Music, decor, and overall ambiance. Service 6/5 The onegentleman providing nonstop service to all tables was on top of his game! I ordered something off the menu and he was able toaccommodate. Super friendly. Cleanliness 5/5 The place is small and tidy. Overall, would recommend and will personally return. Read more

Absolutely outstanding -- wish we lived closer, but we will make the drive from West Loop because this chef and staff earned it.... We absolutely loved everything we ate. Chile Relleno, Camarones, Chuletas (Lamb Chops), Puerco Con Nopales, and dessert. As muchas I want to try everything on the menu, for two people, I wouldn't change a single thing we ordered. Unfortunately it was somuch food that we barely touched the Puerco, but we took it to go and heated it up in a skillet two days later and threw it ontop of a tostada and it honestly still tasted amazing. As someone who doesn't typically love mole, I enjoyed everything aboutthe Chuletas -- getting a bite with lamb, fideo and mole was perfection. The service was amazing as well. Thank you for a greatmeal - we'll be back soon! Read more

Doña Tola does a great job of making you feel at home with its playlist of classic 90s Latin pop and it’s authentic Latin... silverware. The employees really went above and beyond to make you feel like you were part of the family and made sure you werewell taken care of. The Birria y Queso empanadas were the standout dish and the chicken enchiladas were amazing. The carne asadatacos were missing a bit of flavor but the portions were great, although the prices were a bit on the higher side. The SleepingBeauty cocktail was a great nightcap after a wonderful meal. Read more
