I don't know what these people in the reviews are used to eating, but this was not what I expected. Fish is too salty because... this restaurant uses a thick lemon pepper seasoning to garnish (i severely dislike that seasoning) should have told methey use that. The Spaghetti has tender noodles but that's all I have positive to say. Fish is oily chewy if that makes sense.The chicken pieces used for the sis did not look appealing, nor did it taste like Jerk. Excellent food service one of my favorite places to eat and the owner is a stand up customer service oriented guy. PERIOD.
To be frank the food is delicious ????????but the portion was not worth 25 dollars???? I brought a Spaghetti and jumbo shrimp(6)... plate with a Judy Juice & when I received my plate, I thought it was a little light but I got home opened my plate???? and justsay this, I would not eat here again. I know times are tight for everyone but fr doe it was bogus. Don't get me wrong like Isaid the food was tasty ???? but I expected to receive my money worth maybe it's me but when I have to pay $20 and up for mytake out food, let it be the right portions. The herbal wings are excellent! This jerk salad is phenomenal. The greens are always fresh and the chicken is superb.
Trying to support Black owned eateries in my hood. Doughboys makes that real easy! The jerk catfish combo did not disappoint.... Very tasty,fresh and hot. Same with the chicken wings and spaghettidough. I ordered that for my husband and couldn't stop eatingit. Definitely a place you should try. Alot of vegan options, as I'm new to that life and finding black owned good food is astruggle. Can't wait to try the Sunday specials. Read more
