Went here for lunch to dine in that was a epic fail. First they dnt have a waiter for that being my first time going there I had... no idea of what the food was , after calling the young lady from behind the counter I asked her about drinks she informed methey had nothing to drink (pop,juice, liquor) so we settled for water smh then we finally placed a order and was told afterpaying it would be a 20min wait. As we’re waiting and water started coming from the sewer and we had to move our sits. When wefinally received our food I got the spicy chicken and spicy pasta nothing was spicy about it everything was sweet no spice hadto go to another jerk place to get some jerk sauce. just a bad experience Read more
The environment was quiet attractive, we really enjoyed the Rasta pasta, had mine with salmon and my friend had hers with... shrimp, we also had some jerk chicken and plaintain, overall the meal was great. Just so you know, you have to pay for parking,I wish I knew that before going, ended up getting a space somewhere else and had to walk down to the restaurant. Read more

The atmosphere is great with great Reggae music. My lobster and shrimp run down with a side of rice and festival was... delicious.???? My guest had the jerk chicken and waffles and it was okay. It could've used a little more spice and seasoning,and the sauce was sweet. We tried all of the pattys except for the spinach and the curry chicken patty was our favorite. Wewanted 4 to go but they only had two left. This place definitely put a twist on the traditional jamaican cuisine and even hadyucca fries with my lobster which was nice. This location came up several times on TikTok for their food being amazing. Placed my to go order online, and it was ready for... pickup when I got there. Ordered the rasta pasta with shrimp, the dinna with Cornish hen and a chicken shawarma roti. The foodwas food but could’ve used a little more flavour. Next time I will request extra gravy on the side or something to add thatlittle umpphhh. The pattys were great though. Will definitely be back. PS for to go orders of the roti, consider not buildingthe wrap as it was a lot more wet/soggy by the time I got home to eat it. Read more

Dr. Bird's is amazing! When you walk in the atmosphere has great music, maps on the wall, nice decor, and my favorite is the... family pictures on the wall. Then to top it off the food is amazing!! I had the chicken and steak tacos with the corn andpineapple relish (so good), the poutine, a spinach and cheese patty, and the bundt cake. They even included some delicioushomemade ice cream. The drinks were also delicious. My friends enjoyed their rum drinks. Hakim was super nice and even made me aspecial drink to resemble the sangria. Thanks so much for a wonderful dining experience! Truly a great experience, there isn’t much like this in Chicago I’ve had. Bursting with flavor and some of the nicest owners... around. Ive been twice and everything I’ve had is delicious (Rasta pasta, chicken wings , chicken, the patty) . Do yourself afavor and support this family owned seriously great restaurant. Read more
