Wasted my money. If you like flavor, this is not the place. It actually use to be much better over a year ago. Just like most... ethnic resturants up north, they lack authentic taste because the yt ppl don't know any better. I lived on the east and westcoast prior to here and i absolutely know better. Chicken tacos and salad was soggy & literally had no taste/flavor. For $18.The taco salad had chicken, lettuce and guacamole. No beans, rice or cilantro or onion. Again the chicken had NO flavor & wassoggy. Don't even get me started with the Elote corn. I've had better from the frozen section in grocery stores Will never comeback here to order lunch/dinner again. Unfortunately I'll be going to the west/south side to continue getting my authenticflavorful Mexicanfood because up north just continues to disappoint. I?ve never left a Yelp/Google review ever but this deserved it. Just moved to the area and love some good street tacos. Hadn?t... eaten all day after riding the L around the city and decided to stop at Edgewater Tacos. I?m pretty basic and ordered 3 chickentacos on soft corn tortilla w/ cilantro and onions. Unbelievably fresh and tasted so good! It?s obvious why this is considered alocal gem. So happy to find this place and have it be so close by. I will be returning!! Read more
The carne asada tacos are seasoned well. As well as the al pastor tacos. Will be back to try more.
This place is the real deal. A family business and local gem. They?ve got a window in the front to order food from and a wide... variety of menu options. I can?t stop coming back. Try the choco flan!! (closed Sundays) Read more
Edgewater Tacos is where it is at! You can taste the love and magic in each bite. There isn?t anything on this menu I wouldn?t... recommend. Even my babe appreciated being treated like a kween with a special pup treat. The food, the service and the allaround vibe of Edgewater Tacos is something to definitely experience! Read more
Discovered this walk up taco joint during Covid. So glad I did! Really yummy fish taco and Al pastor is one of my favorites.... They are super nice at the window and my pup always gets a treat ????. I dropped a star because my last order was not asexceptional as they have been in the past, even with higher prices. Regardless, I?ll be back! Read more
Where else would I go on Tuesday 2-22-22? Edgewater Tacos was on my mind from the minute I woke up on this special "Taco... Tuesday"! Patty and her crew are amazing! Consistency is key! This place definitely knows how to keeps running smoothly. I?ve had the opportunity to eat here in all of... Edgewater Taco?s moments. Had the chance to dine-in and do take-out. They might not have all the options to get your food likedelivery but that?s okay! It?s great to have an establishment like this place! Everyone rocks! Always great and friendlyservice.
