Our waitress took a while to come meet us. I understand they were busy so no problem on that part. Hopefully they can hire more... staff. This was my 3rd time coming here As far as the food, this restaurant used to be very good Im not sure what happened. Weorder the Parrillada for two. Portions where just perfect but the sea food was flavorless not even adding Valentina and salt toit made it better. The only thing i liked was the steak and fried beans. Also the 1st cantarito I order was right on point butthe last two tasted different and not so good. Unfortunately we won't be coming back! Read more

Good Mexican seafood. Drinks have a good kick to it. Nice ambient. Best with a group of friends.

Food was pretty good but not my favorite. I did LOVE the beans that came with the meals! Chips and 3 mini salsas to try before... order was nice but I found myself missing salt that was clearly not on the tortillas. I got the shrimp enchiladas and wish Iwould've asked for flour tortillas. Corn is the default so make the request if you prefer flour. My wife and daughter lovedtheir meals though and our server was great!! The selling point on this place though is the margaritas! Get passion fruit witha tajin rim. Trust me. I wouldn't come back for food considering the price point and not loving it but I would for sure comeback for cocktails! Read more

Haven't been here in a while but food is great! Service was good but felt a little like we had to chase them down a little.... Where else can you get a whole deep fried red snapper! Read more

Poor food quality. They used to serve this delicious fried potatoe slices with your dish, which now is gone. Had some melted... cheese shrimps along, which was tasteless. This seafood place used to be great... Read more

Delicious passion fruit margaritas ($30/pitcher that served 5-6 pours). Shrimp tacos and al pastor tacos (which were fish) were... both bland, wouldn?t order again. Not a ton of flavor for the price. Great restaurant ambience, fast and friendly service, andsuper spicy bottled hot sauce. The hot sauce was the highlight of the meal, minus the margaritas! Would come for drinks but notfood next time. The El Barco website is never updated for days and times. Went a few days in the same week and it was closed for different... reasons. 1st time it was some undisclosed event that occurred and they closed right before we arrived around 5pm. The next fewdays it was closed due to kitchen repairs with only a sign posted on the door. Then when we finally got to go and the RedSnapper was over cooked, ugh! The drinks are amazing however. The food is delicious as long as instructions are provided so yourfood turns out right. The salas served with the chips are tasty too. Great place if you can catch them when they are actuallyopen.
