Food was very good. Staff was great. The only drawback was that it took 25 minutes to get our food after we ordered. We ordered... a combo sandwich and an eggplant parmesan sandwich, maybe they had to wait for the eggplant to grow. The food was delicious. Wewill go back, it was worth the wait. Read more
Love Freddie?s! Never had anything from this restaurant that I did not like. Customer Service is also great! I ordered a... Chicken Cesar Chicken Wrap and a Small Strawberry/Watermelon Italian Ice. The wrap was very flavorful. The chicken was juicy andnot dried out. The lettuce was crisp and just the right amount of Cesar dressing. The Italian ice was good as always. Read more
The Italian beef at Freddie's is not what it used to be. Something has seriously changed in its flavor. Although the sandwich... has a generous helping of beef & is served to order, the beef is bland & without flavor. My recent visit to Freddies broughtback the memory of my visit there 6 months ago when I first noticed the change. Freddies is a nice place to visit. The staff isfriendly, the restaurant clean & orderly & the food is made fresh to order. However, the change in flavor of their signatureItalian beef sandwich has taken a nose dive. Fabulous Freddies might be the most important restaurant in Chicago. Reasonable prices, excellent food, two for one beer or wine... on certain occasions, open late, alcohol and CBD, I just can?t get over it. Stupendous slices of pizza.
