Pleasant eatery and the prix fixe brunch offering is awesome. Definitely shareable for two, it's a taste of everything the... restaurant has to offer without leaving feeling you feeling totally weighed down for the rest of the day. Our server was alsokind and genuine. Loved it all! Read more

Slightly underwhelming than what we expected from reviews and recommendation. Trying Arak (Askalon) first time in life.. and... wow, blown away. Cocktails were pretty sweet, but looked good. Hummus was tasty but consistency was poor. Maybe too much overdressing, its almost like a sauce consistency than a spread or dip. Kachapuri and pita bread were good(that's the best of thefood we had here actually). Kabobs were okay, but we've had much better in the neighborhood. Biggest disappointment was wholeoven charred cauliflower. Totally under seasoned. Can't say service was great either. In short, you go without muchexpectations, you'll be okay. Just an avg place... Sorry, don't think we'll be back. Read more

First, the food here is very delicious. Every dish we ordered was so nicely flavored. Our meal consisted of: - chickpea/hard egg... hummus, really liked the consistency of the hummus and flavors. - fries, my niece and nephew loved these! The aioli wasreally good too. The crispness of the fries was perfect. I wish there was a little more za’atar spice though - khachapuri ,this is one of my favorite dishes, definitely recommend it - skirt steak, was cooked perfectly and the pepper with it was verynicely roasted and the sauces that came with it were fantastic - chicken, this was cooked very well but not my favorite dishas chicken is just kind of a boring for me - cauliflower, the char on it was so good and pairing it with the sauce just broughtthe flavors together so well. Only tough part was carving the cauliflower. Might be good to cut it in half when serving - Ishared a bottle of the Lo-Fi Gamay/Pinot noir and I highly recommend it as well. I think small improvements could be made, butI’ve eaten here 3 times and have loved almost everything Read more

Delicious drinks and food - highly recommend for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike. We loved the margarita, the... Negroni, and the extensive wine list as drinks. The hummus is a must as a starter - recommend the cauliflower or eggplant ontop. For shares, the cauliflower and sweet potatoes were delicious vegan choices while the beet salad and khachapuri werevegetarian crowd pleasers. Read more

Food is super good. I really love the woman who runs the front of house. Not sure if she’s a manager or the host but she is... sassy and classy and good first impressions of the place! Read more

They were still asking for proof of vaccine 5/1 that's a joke, I sat at the bar big mistake. The bartender was not very... friendly. There were food crumbs left from a previous patron, she never never cleaned it up. She never asked if I needed helpwith the menu since it was Hebrew. The skirt steak I ordered, she didn't ask me how I wanted it cooked. The food was cold. Ijust feel she wasn't very accommodating. Read more

Overall this place is good but their were a few hiccups. To start, we tried the crispy cauliflower hummus. The crispy... cauliflower was the best part but the hummus needed a little more flavor (lemon perhaps or stronger olive oil taste, something.)We really loved the fresh pita and the whole roasted chicken. Such a great smoky taste. Probably the best thing we tried. Thepot pie was very good as well but we were expecting pie crust and it was actually more of their pita on top. But the inside beefwith potatoes were a lovely flavor. They roast things (like whole cauliflower) in an oven there in the center of the main diningarea so you get to watch things get put in and taken out which is super fun. Sadly we were super disappointed in the dessert weordered. It was a pecan-date with cardamom bread pudding but it was dry, crunchy and not sweet. We ended up eating only the icecream on top. However, when our waiter noticed we didn’t eat the dessert and asked about it, he kindly took it off our checkwithout us making a big deal about it. Unfortunately we think they brought us the wrong bottled ale as well. We wanted thebarley wine one. The one they brought was still good but we think it was the strong ale one from the after dinner menu. We askedabout it but the waiter said he was pretty sure it was the right one. I’m willing to give this place another try especiallysince that chicken was amazing. Read more

Trekked up to Andersonville to visit as it had been on my list for ages We obviously started with one of the amazing hummuses... on offer, the cauliflower. Fried, seasoned cauliflower florets embedded in hummus; perfection. We went with one meat, one fish, and two veggies. The lamb kofta, the Moroccan fish, the roasted carrots, and the Brussels sprouts. The Moroccan fish wasdefinitely my favourite dish aside from the hummus. The fish was perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. Read more
