I discovered the Ambassador Room when I looked into working at Ambassador Chicago for a day. Although I did not reserve a room,... I did stop by the Ambassador Room for Happy Hour. Let me start with the delicious $8.00 Old Fashioned. The cocktail is $25.00after 7:00 PM. The Crab Fritters were tasty and reminded me of crispy hush puppies. I tried a small portion of the well-seasonedButtermilk Chicken Tenders because I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a kale salad. I also sampled the Butler Burger.The French Fries were so good, we asked for another order. Finally, I ended the meal with chocolate cake. If you are a dessertperson, you will enjoy the perfectly sliced shareable cake. The ambiance was great despite the low lighting. We checked out thepictures on the wall. How many famous people can you spot? Overall, I enjoyed Happy Hour. I will stop by again and sit at thebar instead of the high-top table. Even though the server did not recommend the Grilled Cheese Sandwich, I will try it when I goback.
