Wonderful neopolitan pizza and drinks. Pretty pricey though so make sure you are ok with that. The focaccia was more like a... pizza than the thicker version I'm used to.... But still very tasty. The chilli oil helped with adding more of a kick to thepizza. The crust was delicious! Read more

As it says in the name, it's not Chicago style Pizza. And that makes for a good change. All the ingredients were extremely... fresh and flavorful. The spicy oil was a great addition instead of the standard crushed red peppers. A pretty good wineselection is available. And everyone on the staff was very friendly even at the latter end of the evening. Cheers! Read more

I’ve had a great meal here and the service was good. However, the pizza was not as good as I thought it would be. I might come... back another day to give it another try. But my pizza experience was just okay comparatively to other pizza places I went tobefore. Read more

Well, we've heard so much about Forno Russo so maybe we went in with high expectations. I was hoping we had finally found the... pizzeria that uses the harder to make sourdough, which is quite rare to find in cities. Well, they don't, but that's not whythey're 3*. Spacca Napoli doesn't use sourdough and I gave them 5*. The thing is, while the sauce tastes great and the dough isOK, the cheese really was tasteless. Even the Buffala cheese. The first red flag was the Burrata. It felt like it was fakeBurrata or something. Felt like it was Wisconsin cow Burrata. I also realize we went on the single busiest hour of the wholeweek, but we waited an abnormally long time to have our two pies made, and a similar long time to have our simple order taken. Finally, the dessert was tragically bad. Whereas Spacca Napoli had probably the best Gelato we've ever had in the city, Forno'sPistachio Ice cream was just sugar, sugar and more sugar. You'll struggle to even recognize the taste of ice cream because allyou'll know is that it's extremely sweet. They even added powdered sugar on top of the already sweet Nutella pie. Unfortunately,we aren't just disappointed because the place turned out to be another overrated restaurant, but because it turned out to beworse than several mediocre options we've been to as well. So far, San Matteo in NYC remains to be the only pizzeria in the USthat reliably uses sourdough and they even go through the lengths of using water imported from Napoli to mix the dough as theelectrolytes and minerals affect the taste of the triple fermented dough. But again, Forno needs to first fix their cheeseproblem before fixing the dessert and wait time issues. Read more

Great place for neapolitan pizza; the crust is insanely good - crispy on the outside, pillowy on the inside, and perfectly... charred by wood fire • caputo cup winning pizza - crust was incredible; toppings were similar to a margherita but with betterquality • coppa pistachio - outsourced and too sweet; just skip it and order one more pizza Read more
