It's a surprise. When we arrived in front of the restaurant, peeked inside no ones was inside. We decided to have it a tasting... trial and starting to order. Disappointed at one time that's a few dishes would like to try, they didn't have it on that day.Finally we ordered some dumplings, bed noodle soup and some other dishes. They were all great band delicious. If you like spicyfood this is the right place for you. Ask for mild if you can't take spicy food. Read more
Best mainland Chinese food in Chicago! Everything is always super fresh and executed excellently. Never had a bad meal here... since they opened! Their food is so delicious. The meats and vegetables in their dishes are always well cooked, well seasoned, and taste fresh. The... dumplings are great but their entrees are just as great. The Da Pan Ji (braised chicken with peppers and potatoes with widenoodles) is so good. Read more
So disappointed! Avoid! I ordered half of a whole crispy duck and this is what I got. A duck head chopped in half, multiple... pieces of neck, a duck leg, and 3-4 pieces of the chest. It seems like they served me with bits and pieces leftovers of a wholeduck than what I ordered. I honestly don't think this dish is worth $18+ and I will not order from here again. Read more
During lunch hours, you can get a whole meal here for under $10. The staff were very nice and accommodating + the restaurant... vibe felt very cozy. Food was tasty and proportions were great (especially the dumplings). Would definitely come back again. Read more
