Went with a buddy on a Monday night and had a lovely meal. I ordered the medium spicy chicago hot chicken sandwich and enjoyed... it like no other. It is a very unique sandwich, but it was definitely top 5 tastiest I've ever had. The service was lovely, andthe food was great. This just might be my new favorite hot chicken spot! The chicken is juicy and flavorful. The fries are crispy. The wait is... short. We ordered the the Nashville Fried Chicken sandwich and the Chicago Hot Chicken sandwich and both were delicious. If youlike a messy sandwich with coleslaw and pickles go for the Nashville. If you like hot giardiniera go for the Chicago. You canchoose your level of hotness and if you try to order anything hotter than the mild, they let you taste it on a couple of friesfirst just to make sure you can handle the heat. Even if you think you can handle hot, take the sample, it will save yourmouth later. There were a couple of items taped off. I'm not sure if that means they are permanently off the menu, but I tookphotos of the menu for reference. If you are dining in, there is a patio outside or a few seats inside along the window front. I have walked by a few times and decided to try it out. I?m a big chicken sandwich guy and I was blow away by this one.... Definitely top 5 chicken sandwiches. I will definitely be coming back. First time at FTC at 7pm Sunday nite. Sandwiches were delicious and fries were exceptional. But my review is really for the 3... ?young? employees (we are in our 70?s). It was an hour until closing and they were still so congenial and prepared oursandwiches and fries with pride. We were so impressed with how responsible and respectful they were. Since the seating area wasclean and good choice of music playing, we at our sandwiches at the counter. There were still many carry out customers coming inand everyone was being served promptly.
