I finally get a chance to see what the hype was all about.... Upon entering Harold's family chicken chicken I was greeted by a... friendly young lady who asks me what will I have.. I told her this was my 1st time coming , And I made the decision to come offtheir seeing the great reviews that were posted on Google. I myself am also a season Google reviewer. I must say the chicken wasfresh and delicious when I get home I noticed that I left my credit card somewhere and that was the last place that I had usedit and the gentleman told gentleman told me that if they have cards they placed it in the register and he opened up the registerand there it was I was truly relieved . , When I told him my name and they hit my credit card. I usually swear by this Harold's and hadn't been going to any other location for months now, however, my last two orders were... not up to par. Had a 18 wing order a couple weeks ago and it was not too fresh and not fried hard like I requested. Orderedfish too and also not fried hard as requested. Then today, I ordered an 8 piece mix and they didn't follow instructions onceagain, some of the fries werent completely done and of the legs was undercooked. I love this Gem of a restaurant. Prices are affordable (for now). To me the customer service is wonderful. I believe if you talk... to them with respect and treat them like they matter you?ll get wonderful service. I?ve seen so many guests cuss them out foronly having 2 workers at a time and that?s not fair to the young lady or the cook when they have 20 plus orders. People need torelax and be patient . was down south for my dmv exam, and was hungry. saw on google maps that this place was a short walk away, and theres tons of... Harold's chickens in the city so I just had to meet the fam. got the tenders special for like 5 bucks (unheard of), waited abit, but for what I got I'd wait another 15. chicken was super juicy and everything was just nice and HOT, perfect for theweather. very pleasant experience all around, and now that I got a drivers license I'll be around here more often ???? To Management ?THANK YOU! I?m back for an update on this location because they truly deserve it! My last review was not as... positive but I am glad to say that I have been back to this location two times since my first review and it seems likemanagement made some great changes and I personally appreciate it.. a different set of staff that delivers a much betterexperience? I only get the catfish so far and it is consistently delicious. I?m grateful that I don?t have to always go outsideof my community to get the great food experience I deserve! Read more
Chicken wasn't fried hard as I requested. Wings were real big and gummy/soft textured. Lemon pepper added to the chicken also... tasted weird. Food took awhile which is not uncommon for Harold's but it wasn't worth the wait. Thought I'd give this place atry since it's closest to me and kinda new but this also maybe my last time. Read more
