Guests should be asked if they are dining in or not. If they are - they should get reusable cups/plates vs single use plastic.

I?m here at Heritage outpost right now on a sunny November 10, 2022 with a surprising high in the low 70s. I walked into in... through the revolving door and was immediately greeted by an elder gentleman manning the front table. I must have looked lost! Iasked if this was "Heritage outpost" and he immediately pointed to my left and said ?Heritage cafe is right there?. It is anactive lobby as others have mentioned with people and their dogs walking through. There is a ?no pets? sign for the cafe (the"cafe" itself is small with enough seating for maybe 4-5 people) but pets seem ok to have alongside you in the building lobby. The furniture is an eclectic mix of leather, fabric, tufts, modern, and wingback chairs with what seems like a 1920s type ofdecor. There is a ?backyard? with picnic tables (maybe 6-8?) if you head straight back towards the gold elevator doors and makea left. It was a bit windy (and shaded) when I poked my head outside and I wasn?t sure if the door would latch and lock so Ididn?t risk it. There is a low level of 70s music coming from the cafe present in the lobby which creates a nice level ofstructured background noise. Read more

Why do you give people single use cups when they are having their coffee for here? People should be asked whether they are... having for here or to go. If it's for here - please give them a reusable glass, cup, or mug! It's 2022 and the planet is dying. Read more

Beautiful seating inside and in their backyard patio. This is inside an apartment/condo building. Coffee drink really good but... pricey, even for Chicago. The low stars is for the barista, curt and unfriendly. The doorman wasn't very friendly to nonresidents as well. Read more

Please learn to treat ALL of your customers with respect. My mother went to try out the coffee yesterday. Not only was the man... who was the barista there rude but she clearly did not care for business. You have a job because people come in and purchasecoffee. I don't care what people look like. It's 2022, learn manners and respect! Read more

Love their cappuccino, but the cold brew has notes of citrus and that's just not my bag baby. Much prefer notes of chocolate... when it comes to cold brew Read more

Was looking for a quick coffee before a show at The Aragon on a Friday evening. Googled options and saw other great reviews for... Heritage Outpost. It would be easy to walk by and not notice the shop but that would be a shame. The space is modern and clean.Service was friendly and fast. He served up one of the best lattes Ive had in Chicago. So much so that 15 minutes later, I contemplated a second! While the coffeeshop itself is quite small, consisting of the counter and some stools, the entirebuilding's lobby provides more than adequate spots to either work or lounge. Another hit, a pristine and giant bathroom. Alwaysa perk to find in a busy area! Read more
