Came here, as their restaurant States they close at 930pm. We arrived at 9pm. The hostess asked us how can she help. The open... sign is still on the door and the door is open. We asked to be seated, just to be told the restaurant was closed. We saidok. Can we at least order to go, since you guys state you close and 930pm. She says let me check. She comes back and says oh,our kitchen closes at 9pm. I said well technically that means your restaurant closes at 9pm then, correct? She giggles andsmiles and says?yes. Worse sushi ever.We felt that the sushi they served us was refrigerated and the rice was cold, hard and chewy? like from the... Jewels frozen section? We confronted the hostess and she said that that is the way it supposed to be? like this is the firsttime we have eaten sushi from this place?. Have been eating in as well as delivery for 11 years and this time was really bad. The mini egg rolls were dry and tasteless and... the dragon roll tasted really fishy. But the worst was the California Maki Roll. The plastic wrap used in the rolling processwas still inside! Not a pleasant surprise to say the least. I called and complained. The woman I talked to didn't quiteunderstand what I meant. She said the next time I ordered let them know I was entitled to a free California Maki Roll. Never been here before. Had miso soup. I had it once before somewhere else and wasn't a fan. But here, it was absolutely... delicious and perfect on a cold, rainy day like. The sauce for the Crab Rangoon was sweet, but not overwhelming, and tasted ofapricots. At least that's what I thought. When I asked, I was assured there was no apricot in it . It was just Thai Chili Sauce.Try it for yourself and let me know what you think. The wanton wrappers were thin and delicate, but very crispy. And thefilling was rich and creamy. The chicken wings were small, but surprisingly tasty. The sauce had a mild bbq flavor with notesof pineapple or oranges which was complimented well by the the fresh lemon wedge they gave me. I asked the server about thesize of the wings. She said they intentionally picked small wings because the sauce was able to permeate throughout the chicken,giving every morsel a generous coating of flavor. And she was right! It's not always about the amount, but it is always aboutthe taste. The sauce even kicks up the flavor of the shaved carrots and cabbage served with the wings. But the best part wasthe Beef Teriyaki Bento Box. Shrimp and Vegetable Tempera. The vegetables were tender and not overcooked. Same for the shrimp.The batter looked thick, but was light and fluffy. The sushi rolls were light and creamy. The Teriyaki sauce was thin, but wasextremely flavorful. And the coleslaw had a peanut sauce on it that knocked me completely out. I wanted to try the mangopudding, but couldn't eat another bite. So I got an order to go. I'll let you know how it was at another time ????. I willdefinitely come here again. Worth every penny. It does the job. It?s not amazing sushi, but there?s not much sushi in this neighborhood so it does a good job of hitting the... spot. I do want to try other menu items, I?ve been looking for places with soft shell crab and they do have it! This was thespider roll with soft shell crab. Read more
Ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. The star of the meal (chicken teriyaki) had mushrooms in it which I wasn?t used to but... that wasn?t the issue, the chicken itself with the sauce tasted horrific. The fried tempura was alright, and the sushi was theonly thing I liked besides the green tea mochi ice cream. The miso soup was mediocre. Definitely had way better elsewhere. Read more
