The good: A nice view of the city and really friendly on-point service. The food was also very good, albeit overpriced, but it... would all be worth it if it wasn't for... The bad: Terrible club music pumping through the entire area that felt out of placeand distracting. Nothing about this place says "sports bar" and yet there is a strange quadrant of 4 flat screen TV's withsports on them. It's like they are trying to do too many things instead of focusing on being classy and directing your attentionto the view. The outdoor couches have holes and tears in them and look outdated. The strange whale-tale individual vinylcanopies arching over the couches also look ridiculous and outdated and have ugly lights on them that are supposed to addambiance but are just distracting and blocking the views. Just getting rid of those would do a lot to eliminate the cheesycruise ship vibe. And lastly, the mixed drinks are truly mediocre. For the location and price I would expect this place to havemore class and better drinks. The management should consider hiring a smart designer to create a contemporary and consistentlook and hire a new beverage director. But again, the food was really good and so was the service so they are halfway there. Ifyou can't find a rooftop that has any availability it's worth it for the food and service. Read more
Roof top vibes were in full swing at this must see venue. The food was on point. The wait staff was on point and the vibes were... on point. Just a heads up. It is not that high up so you can not see the city scape if that is what you are going for. I wouldcome here for a place to blow off some steam and relax or vibe out with cool people that are well dressed and just want to havesome fun. Don't miss the lamb shanks if that is what you are in to and don't sleep on the sushi either. I was shocked at howgood it was. Be sure to book in advance and read the dress code too. So obviously this place turns into a club at night and can be a ton of fun. But we just came for a quick drink after dinner and... it was really chill and nice, their drinks are really good and the mezcal drink is one of the best I've ever had (picattached). If you want a great view of the city right in river north I'd come here around 7p and get a few drinks. If you wantto stay later it turns into a wild night out. Read more
Beautiful terrace and decor. Nice for a weekend brunch with rooftop views of downtown Chicago. The food was decent, nothing to... rave about. If they added bottomless mimosas, I think that would make it worth coming back. Overall, thanks had a nice time. Read more
We enjoyed a wonderful time in an igloo on the roof. Our wait staff was very pleasant and kind. We loved the wine, cheeses and... beignets while we lingered with friends. Nice rooftop bars with great views. The staff were really nice and the bartender was super cool. We went for happy hour on a... Friday and we’re able to get in without a reservation, but I’d highly recommend making one if you’re going later in theday. Not the best happy drink selections, but the bartender was pretty generous with the scotch pours. Would definitely go back. Read more
Was staying at the hotel and stop by the rooftop for a quick bite and drinks before attending a concert. Was able to get seated... immediately as it was still early. You need reservations for evenings and brunch on Sunday. Was a laid back vibe. Waiter wasattentive and friendly. Food was good. Would come back if staying at the hotel. Read more
