I went to this restaurant on 7/22/2022. This restaurant has the perfect vibe and employees for any time of the day. I went for... lunch and had the chicken curry with sweet tea. The food was great, drinks are strong. I gave it 4 stars because my lamb chops had a LOT of fat on them.
The jerk lamb is a MUST have. I ordered the appetizer. It was seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. I recommend medium.... Tip: Get the jerk sauce on the side if you're unsure about your spice tolerance. The jerk chicken entrée (pictured) wasamazing. And finally the rum cake (pictured) with a shot of rum for a little extra mmph! There are no words. Chef's kiss. Iwould definitely recommend. All around great experience. The service was excellent. I am visiting from Baltimore and Ja' Grill is right across from my hotel. I love Jamaican food and decided to try it. I'm so... glad I did. It was very busy, but the staff were really attentive and didn't miss a beat. My server was Paris and she was verygood and personable. This restaurant is now at the top of my list for the best Jamaican food. I've had the real deal fromJamaica a few times, but this was some of the best I've had. I had the jerk ribs as an appetizer and ox tails for my meal. Allof it was fantastic. The cabbage was excellent and cooked perfectly.
