Our food was delicious and the service was exceptional! We loved everything we ate and drank. The highlight for me was the... chorizo small plate, the endive small plate, and the cheesecake dessert paired with the dessert wine. That combination was SOunique and surprising - and delish of course! Read more

My girlfriend and I used to visit Jaleo in DC. It helped introduce tapas and paella to an American audience. We have now been... married for 21 years and spent our anniversary at Jaleo Chicago. The menu has a wonderful mix of tapas, paella and otherSpanish entrees. But unless you are really looking for a paella I would go with the tapas. They have the traditional ones youexpect - cheeses and meats. The croquettes had actual pieces of meat in them, not a puree. Check out a few of their own tapas. The chorizo wrapped in potato was very good. We also enjoyed the fried eggplant with honey and lemon zest. The staff is veryknowledgable and friendly. They have an extensive wine list and cocktail menu (it was gin week). It is a bit pricey but worthit. Read more

My beloved bride and I came here because it has a great mix of vegetarian and carnivore pleasing dishes. Must order dishes -... Ferann Adria Liquid Olive, queso Massimo, Patatas Bravas, iberico sliders The service was good and properly paced out the mealbut could have been more attentive for $100 per person. Also there was a very strong fish smell when entering that almost putoff my beloved bride. Thankfully it wasn’t present where we were seated. Read more

Came here for drinks and a bite with a friend. The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious! We loved the gambas al... ajillo so much we ordered it twice! The only opportunity for improvement would be with the server. I felt there was a constantmiscommunication and she had almost no knowledge on allergens. Read more

We came here for happy hour two weeks ago and again last week. The first time we came we ordered almost one of everything on the... happy hour menu and we were satisfied with the food and drinks. However, the second time we came, which was only a week apart, the price increased and the portion decreased. We got the same chicken croquettes and got 5 the first time with a pretty chickenplate, and only 4 the second time with a normal plate. The food and drinks were good, but knowing how often they increase theprice just makes us not want to come back here for happy hours again. Read more

I love a good tapas spot, and Jaleo is exactly that. The ambience is nice, but still casual enough to be able to relax and... enjoy. Everything we tried we either really liked or completely loved. Staff was kind. Read more

It was a busy new years eve but we had a great waiter. Their tapas were great, paella not so much. Sangria was top notch. I felt... like their Vegas restaurant was much more true to the tapas fare then this one. Nonetheless, the tapas were great. Read more

Our Chicago friend suggested this place and helped us enjoy the various delicious items in the menu. We started with liquid... Olives, Crystal bread and ham. All turned out great. We also tried their traditional chicken fritters, garlic shrimp. We triedOX tail paella, words cannot describe this taste. Try and enjoy this gastronomic experience. Read more
