They sneak in charges (make sure to match up prices from the menu and your receipt, they double charge your credit card (tried... to make things right with a $10 appetizer), manager working on 8/28/15 morning shift does not have the ability to make thingsright when given a chance. (We asked her to give us the lunch special which is 50% off certain items in order to offset theprevious double charge and she said no.) She wanted us to trust that after the theft and lies they have told us that they wouldcredit our CC. Every time we were up-charged or double charge it was by Oliver the server/bartender. At first he is great, givesyou his cell phone number and tells you he will take care of you every time you visit and to just give him a call ahead of time.This is the way he works, you start to trust him and he scams you on your bill later. Had the Pink Flower and Black Diamond rolls. I haven't tasted sushi that fresh in quite awhile. Everything about the taste and... texture was amazing, even the rice itself. I was a bit surprised on the small serving size with the wine, but hey I don't orderwine enough to know what's normal. Also, I liked how the place felt tucked away in the wall and how you go up a flight oftight stairs to get to this sushi place with blue ambient lighting and wavy wall decals. Read more
We went there Friday night, seating options are either at the bar, booths or so called “patio” that has view of Rush... street. For food we selected sushi that was fresh but just Ok. What has going on for this place is location and atmospherehowever the service definitely needs improvement. After placing our order it took over 35 min before food came. Our waitress wasvery inattentive. So if you want to stop at the spot at the Rush street and enjoy the atmosphere ..that could be the place butif you want amazing sushi and great service there are other places you could go. Read more
The atmosphere was breath taking. The parking is tight so be prepared before hand or find an Uber to get you there to keep... yourself from hunting spots. The meal was to die for and something I can find myself craving now! Read more
The food is fine, but I've had better sushi for half the price in other cities. Rent is obviously more expensive for this... location but I'm just disappointed you don't get a little more food for the money. The rice was not the best, fell apart whichisn't normally an issue for me. Fish was wonderfully fresh but let down by the quality of its preparation.
